One of the best songs on this album. great work adapting that eliminate style while putting your own twist on it. Nice work :)

What I Have In My House (ft. LASTRA)

This is, I think, just a better version of Atlas. It was SUPER fun to make, and I think, is one of the best tracks I've ever made. The switch-up at the end is my favorite part. I tried to push Native Instruments Playbox to it's absolute limits in this track, forcing it into modes that I could play melodies with, and using it for everything from risers to drums. It was originally supposed to go into a future-bass drop, but I ended up doing the fake-out key switch instead. Silicon is a really, really old name I've had laying around since Inertia I, it was originally meant for a song on Inertia VII. Imagine if I had actually gone on with that naming scheme.

On January 21st, 2023, over 300 musicians and visual artists challenged themselves to create something in only 18 hours. Visual artists had to create a unique album cover & its supporting graphics, and musicians were limited to no less than 50 seconds and no more than 70 seconds for their songs; in short, a speedrun. The event encouraged creatives to think outside the box, picking their ideas apart in order to keep only the essentials. At the finish line, we received some of the most exciting tracks on a FORM compilation to date.

In the colors of each album cover and between the notes of each song are reflections of us— the artists. To leave pieces of ourselves *out* in lieu of a time constraint isn't easy, but it allows us to conclude what's at the center of what we create. Creativity, no matter how bare-bones or how complex & nuanced it is, is something nobody can ever take away.

All proceeds from any% will be going to SpecialEffect, a charity working to make video games accessible to those with physical disabilities.

winterchaser alias: next morning.

the concept behind this album was that i made each
song on it on its own night, from start to finish.
i didn't go back the next day to make changes. the
tired ear tends to naturally create a much softer and 
relaxing experience. :)

the album's theme is of self-discovery and its
story is told through a series of memories throughout
winterchaser's childhood.
