The August moon fades away too soon, into astral blue
Our tomorrows soon became, a thousand yesterdays

Since the garland summers of our youth in the great unknown

The landslide of the days, in abandoned parks, will it ever spring in into life?
The hillside by the maze, was our Avalon, now it tumbles free in the night.

The Great Unknown

In the night, entangled and divine, a sanctuary shrine, for lovers out of time,
And the moon you see is just the same as mine, a messenger sublime, a spirit through the pines.
From the bower eves, beyond the yellow fields, the lady of the leaves, a funeral plume of speech.
And the darkness hangs, like smoke among the trees, a heat upon the breeze; I’m never going to leave.

Into that small goodnight, don’t go slowly darling, the last goodbye, feels like forever falling.
An anathema will come, in the zeros and ones, and we’ll all end up undone.

In the violet light, the spectral fingers reach, like mist across the beach, lingers blissfully,
And the sunlight falls on damsons on in the fields, a remedy revealed, a masquerade concealed.

Recorded live in our rehearsal room at Storm Studios, Holloway, London, mid June 2013. Complete with rattling snare drum at the beginning because everything was nice and loud. Recorded using a few condenser mics in the middle of the room facing out towards the amps, drums and PA, running into an iPad with Cubasis.
