MERRADY &amp; GENE is the debut EP from sultry songstress Merrady collaborating with Brooklyn based multi-instrumentalist Gene Back. Produced by Nathan Rosenberg. "Island" is an upbeat homage to an ex,  "California" is a wistful daydream of escape, while "When You Came Home" is a melodramatic murder ballad.  The 5 tracks combine guitars, violins, vibraphones and more to draw you into a unique soundscape with comparisons to artists as diverse as Cat Power, Jeff Buckley, Billie Holliday and The Doors.
