Had a few more songs but not enough time. This all started as a bit of an "Eras" joke about what level of stagecraft I would be bringing to a small show in a yard in Venice, CA, and it ended up being a fun exercise in exploring older songs and, in some cases, rediscovering them altogether.

The Cold - Live from The Sideyard 11/9/2024. This song was written around 1994 in Memphis, TN with Matt Johnson. Memphis had a freeze on, and we were waiting for the gas man to come repair the line. After several hours, we decided to write a little song to him in hopes that it would somehow create goodwill and bring him our way. (Ironically, it turned out it was just a pilot light thing and we could have fixed it ourselves the whole time.)

When I Win the Lottery, Camper Van Beethoven cover, Live from the Sideyard 11/9/2024. CVB is an all-time favorite band, and I was lucky enough to see them in 1989, after which they almost immediately disbanded. Luckily they reformed later and I got to see an early show in Ventura, CA, readying New Roman Times, and subsequently have had several opportunities. David Lowery, CVB and Cracker are all in the HoF as far as I am concerned.

Nearest Star from the MW Eras show. This song is, I think, from 1989-1990 and was inspired by the early days of conservative radio beginning its stranglehold on Alabama.
