Interstellar Flight Control

Mersi Bowcos is an independent and unsigned rock quartet based out of Stockholm, Sweden. The band is still active and recently completed the Resolve & Shatter EP (2015), being the first official release since 2011. Mersi Bowcos has essentially had two constellations since the formation in late 2005. The original founder and percussionist Erik Haqvinsson left the band early on when moving to Japan back in 2008, why the remaining members then turned to the much talented Sofia Aletorn to fill the permanent position of percussionist. The band managed the change and carried on to independently publish their first official release “Free From Oxygen” in 2009. They have since then stayed intact and following the debut release they put up a set of much appreciated shows on the indie scene of Stockholm. Shortly after Free From Oxygen the band had already begun working on their sequel which later on would become the 4 track EP “Mobs Cowries”, although, due to various delays it was not released until during 2011.

Mersi Bowcos is Peder Kristofferson (guitar), Anders Adlén (vocals & bass), Michael "Mike the Mic" Kjellander (guitar), Sofia Aletorn (percussion & vocals).
