As the shock of Walter Becker's passing subsides - the memories + music slowly replace. I met Becker & Fagen about 15 yrs. ago... at a SD rehearsal in NYC. I handed WB a cd of my then band (w/John Tabacco), Fuzzy Gray Logic-  and told them I thought they might like it. Becker thanked me and said he'd take a listen. During that time period, JT & I did a reharmonized mashup of Peg + Rikki Don't Lose That Number + Do It Again + Green Earrings.  I also handed a copy of that to Becker - and he smiled. Don't know if he ever listened to it - but I just did - and smiled as well.
