Heavy resonance
Vibrating to the tones of her vocal chord
Breath held back in a threshold

The pressure is so much harder
Than the sound 
That suddenly emerges from her tongue
After a few seconds

I realize it’s not her  mothers one
That her mother’s probably gone
Wishing it was over
Realize it’s never done
The word she whispered crushed me
Father
Now I wish I was the one
As I witnessed what her father’s done

I releaved her throat
With a single finger on her lips
Signal of rest
To calm her signals of distress

Body language spoke of horror

Ever since I made this track I have had a dream of making an acoustic guitar version of it. unfortunaltely I did not know how to play the guitar, so I had to learn some basic stuff first. And now finally 2 years later I have made it. recorded this tonight here in my livingroom put up microphone and my video camera and everything was set.

MesAyah - Bridge over beloved waters (Acoustic Live)

En kald oktober kveld for 12 år siden hadde jeg nettopp lest årets bursdagspresang: Catching the Big Fish av David Lynch, som jeg bestemt mener å huske ble gitt til meg av den eminente produsenten og gode venninne Handycat. Den hadde tydeligvis satt sine spor i meg, og jeg begynte å skrive på denne låta her. Det ble en låt stappfull av referanser til kunsten og det skapende menneske og står den dag i dag frem som en av de låtene jeg fortsatt er glad i. Derfor tenkte jeg å bringe den frem igjen fra glemselen med minner om en svunnen og morsom tid fullpakket med musikk og teater. Instrumentalen er laget av den eminente ShitisRuff som fortsatt holder på den dag i dag og er aktuell med nye utgivelser.
