This is fantastically brilliant! Owns an apocalyptic feel crossed with transcendental epiphanic hopeful wonder, or rather - wonderful hope. Unclear, but spectacular composition and depth. 

Also grossly spectacular! Early 2000s nostalgia upgraded with a strange but welcomed matured articulation, duly comfortable with itself (or the trajectory in process required). “Its not the destination, but the journey”.. though here its likely both.

Herr Löffler, truly no one screams as softly and as coercively as he, about the deepest of greys using jarringly ecstatic means. If Oscar Wilde were scripted to play Berghain summer garden or Sunday mornings at pbar .. He doth has such an equation.

Wow, stellar work. A fairly deft orchastration in meaningful narrative. Can’t believe I’m downgrading the potentiation here listening via iPhone 6S “speakers”. My headphones sadly in storage whilst sudden covid-19 isolation to foresty land. Soon .. !

Mesh Series 001: Voltereta 

A curated series where we commission artists to make an hour long mix of whatever inspires them to experiment, produce, play out and what they listen to.  
 
Voltereta [Feli Navarro] originally from Barecelona, is based in the south of Spain in Cadiz, he creates and explores fields of electronic music, digital art and performance. His formative years were spent studying at the Music Technology Group in Barcelona followed by performing at La Biennale di Venezia with the Galata Electroacoustic Orchestra. He is currently a researcher and collaborator at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona)
 
Being a lover of thorough production, Voltereta brings the potency of melodic techno together with the depth of ambient and sound art, crafting a fluid and eclectic style of dense atmospheres that invite dancing and introspection. After ’Castigo Al Mar’ (Traum Schallplatten, 2015) and his EP ’Cabezas Bien Altas’ (Sr. Nadie Subcultura Recordings, 2016) he focused on creating visuals, collaborations with other artists and, step by step, recording his new album ‘Nubla’ (Làdeli Editions, 2020).
 
Due to his fascination with the evocativeness of electronic music, the narrative component always plays an important role in his releases. Memory and dreams, the dialogue between digital technology and nature, the ideas of dystopia and utopia or the meaning of home, have played a role in shaping his discography.
 
The artwork was chosen by the artist, some words below:
"Some months ago I commissioned the artwork for my new album Nubla to Rob Clouth. We ended up having a collection of really nice computer-generated artworks made with a custom software developed by Rob. I've chosen this one because I think it represents how the mix goes, something that looks organic but it's been digitally generated, that can resemble a peaceful picture taken in nature but it also contains darkness and some sort of void and uncertainty"
