Klaus Schulze is a German electronic music pioneer, composer and musician. He was briefly a member of the Krautrock bands Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Tempel, and The Cosmic Jokers before launching a solo career consisting of more than 60 albums released across five decades. In 1969, Klaus Schulze was the drummer of one of the early incarnations of Tangerine Dream for their debut album Electronic Meditation. In 1971, he chose to leave a newly formed group after only one album, this time to mount a solo career. In 1972, Schulze released his debut album Irrlicht with organ and a recording of an orchestra filtered almost beyond recognition. Despite the lack of synthesizers, this proto-ambient work is regarded as a milestone in electronic music. The follow-up, Cyborg, was similar but added the EMS VCS 3 synthesiser. Since this point, Schulze's career has been most prolific, and he can now claim more than 40 original albums to his name since Irrlicht. "Windy Times" is a great track that was included in the re-release of his "Timewind" album originally released in 1975. A timeless piece of Electronica/Ambient beauty transformed into a rolling and gentle floating Downtempo piece of art by our mate Funkenschleuder.

I was inspired to create this mix by “blade runner,” one of the movies that has had the greatest impact on me. The entire set is a journey through post-apocalyptic scenes that are combined with circus elements and memories of ancestral cultures. “Tears in rain” is the title of the most important scene and one of the most memorable in the history of film, one that channels a message of love and consciousness in these dark times for humanity. @al-jirdi

Para el pueblo Mapuche, la llegada del verano o WALÜNG significa el comienzo de tiempos de abundancia, donde el sol se mantiene más tiempo en el cielo, llegan los frutos, maduran los cereales y la flora y fauna se fecunda.

Nosotros como Tchamma Yapu celebramos también la llegada de este WALÜNG, que en un año con un post eclipse representa mucho más, ya que al mismo tiempo tenemos la triple conjunción entre Júpiter, Saturno y Plutón que da paso a la nueva era de acuario, llamada la época de la nueva humanidad que todos esperamos.

Un momento preciso en el espacio tiempo para reunir a grandes exponentes y artistas emergentes del downtempo Chileno, para conformar este WALÜNG y marcar la llegada de tiempos mejores para todos juntos.

For our native peoples, the seasonal changes are very important. For the Mapuche people, the arrival of summer or WALÜNG means the beginning of times of abundance, where the sun stays longer in the sky, the fruits arrive, the cereals ripen and the flora and fauna are fertilized.

We as Tchamma Yapu also celebrate the arrival of this WALÜNG, which in a year with a post eclipse represents much more, since at the same time we have the triple conjunction between Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto that gives way to the new age of Aquarius, called the time of the new humanity that we all await.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

In a village on the southern side of the Crete, by the Libyan Sea, lived an old woman with her beautiful daughter. Her name was Moon. She had blue eyes that shined like two unblemished turquoise gems; her long eyelashes curved upward. Her eyebrows hung like quarter moons when she opened her eyes. She had silky white skin like the color of snow and breathtakingly long black hair that hung over her slender shoulders. Everybody loved Moon and Moon loved life. She woke up at dawn, made tea for her mother, and prayed on the terrace, facing the sea and the beautiful calm waters. Moon had a beautiful melodic voice and she loved to sing. After her morning prayer, she sat on the terrace, facing the rising sun, as it slowly peeked out from behind the mountain, spreading its rays over the valley below, and then, second by second, slowly spread a shaft of light over the sea. She loved to gaze at the unfolding of a new day from her terrace. She praised the God and sang a harmonious tune, first in a soft voice, repeating the words, “Praise to God who created the heaven and earth.” Then as the beam of light widened over the valley, she cried and her tears washed the calm of the morning breeze. Jeronimo Karpouzakis is the keeper of golden jewel. This is his third offering for Shango Records. These four tracks can awake the spirits and left you in tears. Dio S, Luett Matten, Bliz Nochi, Salguero and El Mago are the true spirits of our strange, mysterious and sweet life!
