Building upon a hypnotic bass pulse — reminiscent of Paul’s more known beat-based projects — Missing is a patiently layered emotional crescendo, tapping into Ambient, Techno and Dub’s ethereal possibilities.

As Paul Cut’s first non-beat based project, Ecotonal is a rich and joyful output of long length ambient explorations. References to seventies sci-fi, library music, and escapist audiovisual works are rendered through a palette of nostalgic and lush synth sounds, immersing listeners into a grainy tour of the pre-2000 biosphere. 

Ecotonal is an expansive collection of nine deep, hypnotic, and detailed Ambient works, all suitable for dusty nature documentaries and endless mind-wandering.
