MESMERA is a melodic progressive death metal band from Trogir, Croatia, formed in 2010 by Hrvoje Crnković (bass) and Petar Brkić (guitar, vocals).

They were soon joined by Ivo (guitar), Jerko (drums) and Blaž (growl vocals).

MESMERA's first EP "Emptiness Foreseen" was self-released in October 2011. They also filmed a video for the song "Destined to Ruin" released in July 2012.

In October 2012 drummer Jerko Vičić left the band due to personal reasons and soon the band found the replacement in Josip Gruić, but also brought in another guitarist, Joško Civadelić.

In december  2014 Blaž was released from band and his position was filled by guitarist Joško. 

Band finished 2015 by completing their first LP album which one was published by Miner Records in late 2016. At same time Joško and Ivo left the band and they where replaced by Ante Balov on vocals and Dejan Zobenica on guitar.
