The year is 2004. YouTube doesn't exist yet. As a creator of animation, video content, music, or art, you'd like to use the new technology of the World Wide Web to promote your craft. However, your attempts to attract attention to your work by way of blogs and forums scattered all over the internet just aren't doing the trick. You lament your frustrations to one of your friends, who tells you about this website called Newgrounds, which is a place where ANYONE can independently showcase the Music and Flash Movies they have worked on for the WORLD to see.

Newgrounds was the YouTube before YouTube, where creators came to upload and showcase their work, and soon, this community of creators created a culture unlike anything that has come before or since.

Sixteen Years Later, in the middle of the lockdown of 2020, four Newgrounds users share their rhythm game, "Friday Night Funkin' ", a nostalgic love letter to this Newgrounds culture and its characters - with a BANGIN' soundtrack, to boot.

In celebration of the smash hit that is Friday Night Funkin', here is my energetic Hard Dance/Hardcore Cover/Remix of the song "Ugh" from the game, in which the game's protagonist, Boyfriend, challenges Newgrounds' mascot, Tankman, to a rap battle of beeps and boops. Enjoy!!!

Here's my Lo-Fi Remix/Cover of the Main Theme from Genshin Impact! The original is by Yu-Peng Chen and miHoYo.

My first Lo-Fi track! It was a bit of a challenge to try a completely new style like this, especially with the original being in 3/4 time!

I had the idea to make this one MUCH earlier in the year when Genshin Impact was still relatively new, but I decided to wait until winter to actually release it. I figured with the winter coming that the Lo-Fi vibes would feel cozy. Enjoy!

This was a very cool suggestion, I love me some good ol' DnB! I've never played this game personally, but my friends are big fans of this game and it's soundtrack so I was hyped to remix this. A large chunk of this production process was actually on a livestream, which should be on YouTube. This entire soundtrack is like already DnB so naturally I had to keep it that way but make it more hype! Since the original melody is very simple and sparse, I decided to add some flavor here and there. I even took my friend's suggestion and made a d a n k drum solo section which was just -chef's kiss-. Merlox wanted me to keep this as a loopable track, so of course I did. You won't even realize that you've listened to this 10 times lol

Well, since this seems to be a popular track to remix lately, we are taking a stab at it (Haha, jk we had this in the works wayyyy long ago, just haven't released it until now... I kept seeing people release their remixes of it just hoping people aren't going to be bored when they hear yet ANOTHER lol).

Josh from Bonus Stage Van asked me to remix this a while ago... I think like November of last year 2021? In any case... this one is for you dude!

As far as Mesmerist goes, I first was exposed to Mesmerist on a Bonus Stage Van concert (shockingly fitting). He played right after me and BLEW. MY. MIND. I knew we had to collab as soon as I heard his remixes, and I knew it HAD to be this track because of how we met and how Josh requested it so long ago. 

So... I hope you'll enjoy this little diddy we made :)

My remix of "A CYBER's WORLD", from the game "Deltarune: Chapter 2" by Toby Fox, is out now!!!

After falling in love with Toby Fox's first game, I was thrilled to play the first two chapters of his follow-up, Deltarune, as soon as they were released. Retaining the same sense of humor and immersive storytelling of Undertale, Deltarune has been an absolute delight to play through so far - with incredible music, to boot. 

Yes, as the composer for both Undertale and Deltarune, Toby Fox was able to retain the exemplary pedigree of the former's soundtrack with Deltarune, and the original track from the game "A Cyber's World" was a standout to me, so much so that I decided to create this rendition of it! I was heavily inspired by the Festival House style of Brooks and Martin Garrix for this remix, and it was a lot of effort and a lot of fun putting it together. Enjoy!!!
