Beyond the sounds, one can appreciate the score here: the dialogues, the debates and the counterpoints between the different sound sources. An interpretation with string pizzicati would be worth considering.

narration: Basically, this is a second part to Vinyl Ventriloquist ("people are busy / completing first lines / ...."). People of similar age and interest will hear some allusions and few quotations. The working title 'amrita' refers to the Indian legend alluded to in the last verse. That milkmaid entered the poem via an idiom in my native language: Milchmädchenrechnung.

This song started as a rough recorded by Tez on his acoustic and electric guitars. He also wrote the lyrics right off the bat, and introduced them to the rest of The Eclectic Collective by singing them as a rough, too. His vision for this was to create a song that sounded like it could've been recorded at Headley Grange. He also wanted it to feature instruments that wouldn't sound out of entirely out of place in Feudal Age Britain (between 1000-1600 C.E.) to carry the spirit of his lyrics.
  Tez always writes songs that are fun to learn and have cool changes, so the we all jumped in with both feet. Ken was first up with his Bonham like big, bad beat. To that, Josh added his P-bass, which he used a plectrum on, something he rarely does, trying to sound like JPJ to match his Ken's energy. JJ came along next, adding his colourful mix of raucous organ, time period relevant Celtic flute, and outro bagpipes. He did the entire outro, in fact, including the "off with her head," line, too. 
  Once the music was all laid down, Tez tapped Mark to sing the humorous lyrics. Mark came through with flying colours on the vocal performance, as always, too. Mark also added the textural, boingy-sounding jaw harp in the chorus sections.
  Now that it was all in the can, Two of our master producers Tez and Mark mixed it, then asked the third, Stephen, to do the final mastering. It should be noted, too, that Mark also contributed significantly to the production, too, with his masterful editing skills.
  This was a really fun tune to put together, as we always have fun working on Tez's seeds. He is telling the tale of lust between two Feudal era peasants. Of course, it's rife with ribaldry, being as Tez is British. We hope you enjoy listening to this a much as we enjoyed creating it.

Feudal Woman Blues - The Eclectic Collective

     This is my new Christmas song for the year. It has a double meaning for me and that's why I call it "The Last Christmas"! Charlie did a good job singing it and I joined him in spots! I wrote it during the hot summer this year, so go figure!!😂 I used up all the tracks I had available to record it (I'm old school, give me a break!) and I had tons of fun recording all the parts too! The song at the end during the credits is another Christmas song I wrote back in 2001 called "Have A Very Merry Christmas" with Sharri singing and Charlie and me doing background vocals. Check both out I have a video each one! This video was super fun to create, I spent a lot of time and effort on it, the sleigh ride with Santa is especially cool! I added a lot of eye-candy and special audio effect here and there. This video is for the whole family so feel free to share it with loved ones and watch it together.

Now for the secret double meaning of this song!! It's a sad tale, so prepare yourselves! Back when I was in high school, back in ancient times, there was a very pretty girl in our English class named Chrissy, she was very nice and sweet, I sat next to her and she was very smart and let us dumb guys cheat off of her papers sometimes!😂 Anyway for almost the whole year I never realized that her real name was Christmas, we all called her Chrissy. There was something very sad about Chrissy, I didn't know what it was but the next year Chrissy never returned to school? Later, I found out she had leukemia, I think? She never returned to school after that and some of the kids told me she had sadly passed away however I'm not sure about that but I never did she her again. So this song is for her and after all these years she popped back in my brain?! So let's all enjoy Christmas this year with family and friends because you never know when it will be your Last Christmas!
