The album “Goddess Rise” is both a heroine’s journey, and Vylana’s autobiography. It starts by taking the listener into the moment of awakening to the remembrance that the divine is within us all. It journeys through grief, sacred rage, boundary, erotic allurement, and ultimately the rebirth as an embodiment of both the human and the divine. The solo album is poised to release in 2022 and will be accompanied by a stunningly cinematic and dangerously raw visual album. The inspiration for the album was based on her own journey to remembering the full potency of her feminine expression. Her desire is for the album to be both cathartic and inspiring for the listener. 

This album is not just music, it is truth expressed through sound. It is vulnerable authenticity, invoked as an invitation to bravery. And that’s the only way that Vylana would have it.

Utilising the beautiful Masonic Lodge in Marin, the Ecstatic Dance Community enjoyed a intimate night of communal dance.

this tune is inspired by a malian fishing song.i played ngoni,(african harp),guitar,pelican feather flute and congas.thanks jeff for recording this and laying down a sweet bassline.the picture is part of a sign i painted for Zeneidas campsite where i live in santa teresa
