Blind Sided hits hard as a rock song describing the challenges that we face when our plans are interrupted by unexpected circumstances. The changes that are in this song are representative of those upsetting changes in our futures.

Living - like I'm gonna be king. But in this court I can win or lose.
Every prince has to pay his dues.
Feeling - like this is the thing! But since every king will have his time.
Moving up is so sublime.  -  I still have to choose!

Lightning bolts and I'm Blind-sided

July 5 (The Politician's Song)

America and the world need racial harmony. With the racial tensions we have right now, we must bring our issues into terms that will help us handle the problem. We need to understand ourselves and each other with harmony as the goal. One race - the human race. "He made us to embrace, He made us to enjoy - each other!"

The golden hawk, majestically, soars high above the trees.
He looks across the open land - strong, proud and free.
He cries out to his brothers, all those who would hear.
He finds there are no others, his heart starts to fear
And the crows gather their forces...

The Crows chase the Hawk. The Hawk has to flee 
We harden our hearts. Why can't we see? 
The crows chase the hawk and the hawk has to flee 
This is how we walk. This is you and me!

The dark-skinned man works frantically, repairing his car.
Surroundings say ‘by nightfall, you should be very far’
He calls out to his brother. ‘Man, pick up the phone!’
Then he thinks he sees another, he must face alone.
And the crows gather their forces...

The pale-skinned man bikes hurriedly – courier en route.
‘Your kind don’t belong here. Soon you'd best be out!’
He radios another, ‘Messenger, come in!’
He hears there is no other. Terror grows within.

And the crows gather their forces.  And they light upon his head.
The hawk flies with all his might.     His spirit fills with dread.

He made us to embrace. He made us to enjoy.  Each other! Each other!

Over the field of the injured and dead, lives were lost for men to be free.
