Boku (known to his friends as Rick Scott) entered the world of DJing purely by chance. When a friend upgraded his decks, they were given to Boku to 'look after', 2 weeks later every last penny was being spent on vinyl. Boku was also spending his time attending Sankey's week in, week out. Not just for the music/atmosphere, but also to gain an understanding of the art of DJing. This led to getting a grasp on DJing in a relatively short space of time.
  After just 4 weeks of having decks a first gig was secured, which quickly evolved into a residency. Since then, Boku has held down long-term weekly residences in the more musically minded venues in his hometown. These residencies have solidified Boku's technique and also provided a keen understanding of dancefloor dynamics. 
  Currently resident DJ at the most musically forward thinking bar in his hometown, Boku has also spread his wings. Playing at Egg London supporting acts such as Nathan Coles, Catz and Dogz & Kerri Chandler and now playing manchester gigs with the likes of Breach, Hannah Wants & Jesse Rose
