Welcome to our 18th episode of our “ELEMENTS” Series featuring Dj Tsubi from Hungary, an incredible DJ and a big part of the psychedelic scene in Hungary since 2000. He has played in integral part of building the Ozora Fetsival Radiozora to be known around the world! He is an insane DJ and we are super excited to have him showcase this full power psychedelic set with us. He is also a part of the Sangoma Records family which says enough for itself! The LabRat has escaped ! After being exposed to some experimental mutagens, he transformed into a new lifeform and managed to slip through the facility’s security system. He met Pickle Rick in the air conducts and together they made an alliance to shut down the research center.

The Magic Hour - Compiled & Mixed by YUKI.T

Xed is the psytrance project by the Founder of Patronus records, Cedric Marugg. Born in Switzerland, he discovered the psytrance scene and started playing DJ-Sets at local parties in 2016 and got himself immersed deeply into everything about it, due to falling in love with the music and dancing. After some parties he decided to organize his own events in the Swiss mountains and gather experience organizing raves. After two years of DJing he decided to dive into music production and started developing his skills with help by some of his friends (Mirror Engine, Metrix, Yaroc a.m.m.). Cedric quickly learned and distinguished himself as having a unique style very early on.

As time went on, next to putting in lots of time into the record label, his production only grew more mature and clean, not loosing a bit in creative ideas. Wild, unorthodox breaks, funky stinging raygun sounds, poisonous acid stabs, reckless alien space battles and all the gud spacey shit included. Fun but yet introspective psychedelia, but undoubtedly different, generating excitement through sheer overflow of creative and brain-twirling patterns and grooves. Blasting as loud as possible is a moral obligation.

He had the honor to play at some big events like the Sangoma Night in Zürich, Utopia Festival in Ticino, Sundaze festival near Basel as well as Sensory Spectrum (teaser) Party in Oman. Patronus Records has been founded officially in 2018 and since then, Cedric, with all the fire in his heart, has been continuously putting great effort and work into it. His goals are always growing as an individual. He's driven by the idea of giving music lovers and dancers a smile, as well as hosting a family of like-minded people and giving them soil to grow on.

Unexpected Live at Jungle Calling (Hilltop Goa)

Metasonic is the psychedelic DJ project of Sidney van Dyk. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa now living in Bangkok, Thailand.

Since first being exposed to psychedelic trance music and culture in 2009 he fell head over heals in love with both.

He believes that the psychedelic trance journey at it's roots is one of the most liberating and freeing experiences one can have. Be it progressive day-time to Full-on night time to Darkpsy etc, etc, etc and all the myriad of genres in between. The journey it takes you within your own consciousness and who you are after experiencing this journey of sound and self is what made him fall in love. 

Hence the name, Metasonic(meta - after / sonic - sound) is a tribute to that place in all of us that we reach after being taken on a psychedelic sound journey.

His vision for this project is to bring about journey sets to take the listener to that special place inside themselves.
