The serpent had waited too long. It slithered along the branches that weren’t real, coiling around bark that pulsed like living flesh. It was trapped in a place without time, where light cast no shadows. But it remembered. Memories of reality burned like venom in its mind, poisoning it with the need to return.

Metafiziq Recordings is a music label that was founded in 2008 by Valery Sholevski (known as Ogonek) and Daniel Iliev (Mad Twist) in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The label unites and puts out the production of the local and international artists, including names like Dub Elements, Cooh, Counterstrike, Kaiza, Fragz, Gancher & Ruin, Freqax, Erre and many more.

Metafizq has proudly settled within the heavy drum and bass scene and retains its place as one of the biggest labels in terms of electronic dance music releases in Bulgaria. 

The label’s primarily style is orientated towards the heavier Drum and Bass sound, combining Dark, Technoid, Crossbreed and Neurofunk styles. Nevertheless the “Metalight: series of Metafiziq Recordings, stands out with its deep and melodic sound, including genres like IDM, Chillout, Trip-hop, Deep Drum and Bass.
