It's not often you see someone rise up the label ranks this quickly, but if the production is as banging as THIR13EN's it's very much understandable. In less than one year, Kirill Popov went from starting his production journey as THIR13EN to releasing on some of the best Neurofunk labels in the scene, including ProtoCode, Kill Tomorrow and Subplate Recordings. Unsurprisingly, the Neuropunk team soon got interested in the Moscow-based producer's output, both for the infamous Neuropunk podcast a few months ago and soon after for the label itself, as part of the NEUROPUNK FORGE! Presenting: THIR13EN and his UNDER CONTROL EP!

Remember 5 years ago, when that pesky Covid pandemic disrupted our lives like nothing else that came before it? Who knows what would have happened without that one freak accident on Christmas Eve of 2022 at the Frostify ice factory that finally gave us the cure once and for all! Armed with that new medication, we as the human race could finally collectively tell the virus "You won't take my live UNDER CONTROL anymore". However, it still lingers on in our world. 

Once we got our normal lives back, the government ordered a group of scientists to continue experimenting on the virus. Officially, they wanted to improve our understanding of the genome so we could handle future outbreaks more effectively. In reality, they had more sinister plans. The scientists were pressured to keep developing stronger and stronger versions of the virus. With each iteration it became harder to keep the security measures up, so the lab was relocated into a nearby cave system, which is why they nicknamed the project "CAVID".

However, the scientists were right to be nervous. After a few weeks they were testing out a version of the virus far deadlier than ever before, nicknamed THE ONE. The In Vitro tests were successful, but in turning the virus more deadly they also unknowingly increased its transmissibility to the point where even the air carried a deadly viral load. In no time the virus spread all over the cave, infecting everyone working inside. In mere minutes the first people started dying, but the remaining few still managed to activate the cave's emergency airpump system so the virus would at least not be able to get out if someone tries to enter.

Every now and then, everyone from government officials to curious hikers try their luck and go into the cave, but no one has ever returned alive. We can only hope the security measures stay intact.

The battlefield lay littered with discarded weapons, blades buried in slain foes that slumped vacantly over brothers in arms and enemies alike, forgotten by those who had survived the engagement and long since moved on. Discarded lances, pikes, and spears jutted from the ground at odd angles, creating a twisted and nightmarish landscape eerily akin to the forests from which their hafts had once been hewn. As the setting sun glittered gently upon the mail and plate that still encased the remains that lay upon the bloodied ground, this grove of gore cast its shadow upon the soil, and within this darkness began to coalesce the shared woes of all who had fallen that day. 

As the sun fell from the sky the shadows seemed to draw closer and closer together, merging inexorably upon the corpse of a noble knight who lay impaled at the center of the field, his heraldry marred by the vital fluids that had quickly gushed from the wound in his chest. Into this gaping wound did the shadows creep, infusing the knight’s body with energies of vengeance extracted from the thousand other souls that had died at his side. As this vengeful ichor began to flow within his veins the knight slowly rose, his plate armor clanking softly amidst the dead silence that surrounded him. As he stood before the final rays of daylight, the knight grabbed the hilt of the great sword that had run him through, dislodging it from his chest with somber and dutiful purpose before hefting its mighty length over his left shoulder. In the vacancy left behind by this behemoth blade a heart of pure shadow burst into being, sending forth a shockwave of darkness that drowned out even the light of the newly risen moon. Awakening once more to life, the knight forsook the loyalties that had led him to the field of battle, replacing them with the grievances of the countless mutilated forms beside him. REVENANT was he and all their sorrows suffused him, and thus for each of the slain he would exact eternal revenge. 

SLWDWN rises to the fore of the EATBRAIN horde with REVENANT, his debut EP on the label following an initial appearance on 2022’s “Divergence IV” compilation. On REVENANT, SLWDWN showcases a set of shadowy sonics dripping with sinister style, marking himself as a champion of such umbral sounds amidst the label’s ever growing roster.

Back on that collab business, the boys in VC are once again skimming the delicious cream off the top of the dnb scene, and bringing you a tasty release of hard-hitting partnerships, featuring some new alliances, as well as some stellar remixes of previous tunes. 

The first two in the series saw some massive meetings of producer talents, with the lads teaming up with Wingz, Kyrist, Vowel, Philth, and many other big and emerging names in the scene. 

Vol. 3 is no different, be it the maxxed out neuro banger of 'Vobelord' with ABIS, or the slick, rolling sounds of 'Gully Tuckshop' with Primitive Instinct; the unique styles that emerge when two creative forces come together is undeniable. This release also sees them go head to head with the mighty Cruk on 'Bindipper', which as the name suggests is an absolute stinker! Philth returns again as a collaborator on 'Flags', a moody cut of deep, 4am tech. 

On remix duties, this release just gets silly. Kyrist puts her spin on the VC & Vowel track 'Dispersed', and takes it to a very dark, very nasty place. Creatures then steps in by reworking her collab 'Rolex' into a big, steppy slice of techy drum and bass. Two producers who continue to make a serious impact on the scene coming together, it was never gunna be anything less than absolutely ridiculous, and these tracks don't disappoint! 

This series continues to show the power of producers putting their brains & laptops together, as well as presenting a cross-section of the stupidly good talent overflowing from the scene at the minute! Not one to be missed for sure, this series is an essential arsenal of mental tunes for any dnb dj.

MTFZ008D is a temporary disturbance of the dancefloOr's magnetosphere caused by a disturbance in space weather. Associated with solar flares and resultant solar coronal mass ejections (CME), a MTFZ008D is caused by a solar BASS shock wave and/or cloud of magnetic field which typically strikes the DANCEFLOOR'S magnetic field 3 days after the event. The solar wind pressure on the magnetosphere and the solar wind magnetic field will increase or decrease depending on the DIGTAL SOUL's AND OGONEK activity. The HIHATS wind pressure changes modify the electric currents in the ionosphere, and the LOW FREQUENCY wind's magnetic field interacts with the CLUB's magnetic field causing the entire structure to evolve.

Hi, welcome to my little music blog!
It all started back in middle school. During breaks between classes we would send each other music on our phones with infrared and bluetooth. First it was all pop and rock music, but soon I found out about dubstep and drum and bass. It changed everything for me. I had many mp3 players and ipods full of music. I started going to raves and music festivals. I enjoyed some house, hiphop, techno and even psytrance. It's been a journey and after many years I am still so excited to hear new beats and melodies. I've been constantly reposting my favourite tunes for everyone to enjoy with me! Music just makes me so happy and I am glad if I can make you happy too! Besides partying I listen to music while at work, at home, on the streets or in gym. Basically all the time.
Most of all, I love drum and bass. Mainstream, liquid, rollers, jump up, neuro, jungle... you name it. I have dug deep into the world of drum and bass. This page probably has over 10,000 drum and bass tracks reposted by me that I really enjoyed. A few years ago, my friend invited me to a festival in Belgium, and I fell in love with heavy dubstep. After that, for 2 years straight, I was obsessed with it and even made another page for reposting. I found out about genres like riddim, wave, and trap. At one point I didn't want to know anything about it and deleted the page! Right now this is the only page I use. Maybe one day I will return to drum and bass, but lately I've been feeling crazy and reposting other stuff too. I love good music; I don't care what you call it, and I love to find inspiration in different genres.
For some time I was really into deep house. I love to shuffle (dance). I don't mind some bass house. Slap house? I love that. Club house, G-house, melodic house, electro house, progressive house, and yes, even tech house... whatever. I love house music!
I love big festival music like trap and hardstyle, but I also know what underground techno means. I love hardcore, and sometimes I love chillout.
