"These tracks were produced between 2020-2021. The titled track "CX900" is a proper halftime stomper meant for large sound systems, named after the infamous subwoofer designed by PK Sound, the "CX800", and was pivotal in my formative rave years stretching back more than a decade. The second track "P90" originally started off as a halftime track as well but a fellow artist heard it and told me to slow it down and I played it out in the 140 format over the last few years with great revail, thanks Phil. The album features both the 140 version and the original 170 cut just to be safe. Rounding it out with "Creepin," we keep it on an eyes-down vibe, featuring MC Ouda Ouda, the chanting chef, RIP. This one is for you brother, riiiiiiight."

Live recording from my set at Bass Coast 2018, Pirate Radio Stage. Thanks to Bass Coast for inviting me back this year, it was such a pleasure to play this year as we celebrated 10 years of quality bass music. The dance floor was packed and an hour and a half timeslot really allowed me to explore everything i wanted to share. Seriously can't thank you all enough. Jersey Club has been around for a while now. Gaining popularity in 2013 it made a brief surge in the mainstream with major names like Ryan Hemsworth and Cashmere Cat putting their own spin on it. I remember at this time everyone wanting to get in on this booty shaking, chest thrusting sound. While this was a trend for some, artists like Cookie Kawaii, a Jersey resident herself - have been pushing the genre for many years now. Although her track "Vibe" was released almost exactly a year ago, it recently went viral on TikTok casing everyone who heard it to well, "throw it back" and that they did. BUT, was it fast enough?... That's why I could not resist injecting my own footwork twist on this infectious jam. Can you handle that?

"MOMENTS IN TIME"

Producing music has always been a therapeutic process for me. It's one of the only things in my life that I can sit down for hours at a time, completely focus, and reach a state of tranquility. Over the last few years whenever I have been experiencing an emotional state, the genre of what I describe as "lush 85" has been there to serve as an outlet to express the turmoil I'd been experiencing. Directing this energy into music has been extremely powerful. By expressing our emotions through the arts we can transform our trauma into something extraordinary. If we don't acknowledge our emotions and find healthy ways to process them we miss an amazing opportunity to evolve and align with our higher self. 

Although these tracks represent the darker times in the last two years I was experiencing heartache, suffering, and betrayal, the EP as a whole carries a sense of hope and wonder. While working on this type of music I often questioned why during such dark times I always found myself lifting up towards the light vs remaining in darkness. I think this is because I've always felt that every dark moment has something to teach us. Either we can let these moments consume us or we let them guide us to our inner truths to reveal our true selves. 

The dark soundscapes of dubstep and halftime are very important to me and will always have a place in my musical expression but they are an intended action with intention. My intention when writing this music in particular, is not to fight the darkness with more darkness but to shine a light and open myself the unknown. Music can act as a daily journal, allowing you to get your thoughts out of your head and onto paper, allowing for mental clarity and understanding.   

Most of my releases are a collection of tracks meant for DJs and big soundsystems. This release is much more personal. I hope you enjoy listening to start to finish as it carries you through a "Moment In Time" - Inspired by the likes Margari's Kid, Stay, Kid Drama, Amit, Hidden Turn, Om Unit, Tycho and Synkro, it blends various sounds, influences and my own various styles into what I believe to be my most coherent work to date. 

This release marks the end of a big chapter in my life. It serves as a reminder to everything that I have experienced, an anthology to honor my past with gratitude, and move forward. The music and growth I have experienced are a gift. I now graciously share this gift with you.
