The release also features two stellar remixes of the lead track from label friends LaRosa and JIZZ.

This is an assured debut for the highly regarded Dutch export, with the release landing just in time for the re-opening of our nightclubs and dance floors this summer.

It’s been a couple of weeks but we’re back tonight with a brand new brand 5x track EP from our very own @1906sounds with 3 original tracks from the man himself and two whopping remixes that each add their own flavour to this delicious EP🍦

Since his last release with us in January, 1906 (UK) has been a busy man! Working tirelessly to continue developing his craft and perfecting his sound which shines through in this EP, all whilst continuing to manage the TENTŌ label with ourselves - so it’s great to see this come together to make a sheller of a release 💣 

Kicking off with A1, ‘Mission CTRL’ takes you on a journey through space with it’s unique sample, hypnotic pads and a driving bassline to accompany you on your trip 🚀 
For B1 we have ‘TranZition’; built around a familiar vocal how you’ve never heard before. It’s sharp percussion and atmospheric synths combine to make a stomper of a beat you just have to flick that wrist to 🤌
Lastly for the originals we have ‘6am in Bank’, a name inspired by one of our favourite raves we’ve played! It’s moody bassline, robotic FX and soothing vocal will leave you lost in the music not wanting to be found…

We welcome aboard @ashley-231969887 and @jackwalkerdj for remix duties and it’s clear to see why! Ashley is up first with his remix of ‘Mission CTRL’, adding a more mechanical sound with whacky textures and entrancing pads🔧 
Last up is Jack Walker with his high-tempo remix of ‘TranZition’, scratching that itch for a deep bassline and adding a garage feel with some signature FX that will have you skanking through the evening far into the night 🌃

What can be more pleasant than the release of another record on YOI's birthday! Especially when this record brings together so many great musicians and so many incredibly cool vibes! 😍💙✨

This time the music on the record covers five countries at once - the Netherlands, Italy, England, France and Mexico! An exciting journey around the world awaits us, and since we can't do it physically right now, let the music help us do it! 💫🗺️🎶

The journey 𝗬𝗢𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗪𝗔𝗫𝗢𝗢5 starts in the Netherlands, where very talented lad @kreechofficial grabs us and takes us further and higher with his Wurlwind.🌀🌪️ Then back there in the Netherlands, but with Italian character and charisma, another young and very talented musician, @tooommi, takes us with him, giving our journey a funky fun with Funkytarro.⚡🌈
On side B, we'll move to England, where another powerful artist, @tomsparkmusic, is already waiting for us to reveal the power and meaning of the journey we're taking, putting us face to face with Padre. 🥋🎴🧩 And after that, we find ourselves on two continents at once with two great musicians @jizzhouse from Mexico and @nicolasthurman from France, who teamed up to show us the immense and timeless Time Division. 🌐⏳

All this journey is accompanied by YOI's signature classic animated artwork, hand-drawn by label boss @watschemusic, which everyone is obliged to see in person, at the moment when the record is spinning and the music is playing. Deeperfect Records has another winning EP on its hands with Perky Wires serving up three killer cuts on the Come To Rhythm EP. 

Opener Come To Rhythm is a tough, pounding house cut with vast kick drums and warped vocals layered up over the grooves. It's one for sweaty back rooms. Give It Love is a trippy and electric groove with loopy kicks and well treated vocals bringing the soul. It's full flavour, high tension and properly stylish stuff. Nice To Be then brings more superbly futuristic house vibes that are powerful and driving as well as being classy and soulful thanks to a perfect vocal sample. Slick and seductive, it's a standout track by any measure.
