fun fact: the original song samples me! (the ambient bit at the very end is what was sampled.) so this is basically my interpretation of it, noting that the final ver of his sounds different. if i got to produce it, it'd be this.

story behind this: 

server i joined ran by a youtuber i really adore i posted the orig. file for darkbolt canyon in and thennnn new pal wil (from itch link up there) surprised me with this GODDAMN AMAZING remix. the orig. song was purposefully sorta done to evoke later 5th gen/early 6th gen (of gaming) memories in my head, it's like the remix captures an entire other nostalgia palette i have for like later-2000s / early 2010s PC indie titles and shit, i adore it! extended it all nice. i'm gonna be looping this for a FUCKING WHILE.

URL is also the original title! this feels like the Best Possible version of dbc so why not. lol
