Pokemon: Route 2 Theme

Here's a song with a main theme that's got a jarring polyrhythm, an extended jam section in the middle, an epic melodic bridge, and a really harsh key change back to the main theme. And it is all capped off with a drum solo of all things!

This song and video have been heavily inspired by 'The Backrooms' style of videos which I have been obsessed with lately. So much so that I started to learn how to create animations in Blender. This video has a few examples of my initial attempts at creating 'The Backrooms' animations with Blender. If you're so inclined, look up 'The Backrooms Found Footage' by Kane Pixels if you want to have a good scare.

The main theme riffs have been something I wrote a long time ago, but I thought they fit with 'The Backrooms' theme because of how confusing and disorienting it is to listen to.

The middle section strummed guitars uses an EZMix preset called 'Piezo' which almost sounds like an acoustic guitar, along with some nice melodic stuff with complex chords.

Then to close it off I had to bring back the original theme with a pretty crushing key change if I do say myself! Plus a drum solo!
