My thoughts:
We live in an age when communication is instantaneous no matter where you are on the globe and yet we fail to communicate about anything meaningful. We fail to come to an understanding about morality, religion, politics and even the small things in life with the ones we love, and we do so violently.
That is what this song is about. It's my voice in the chaos hoping to bring at least a few of us together. Will my voice be heard?

Recorded with a Rode NT1-A microphone, an LTD F400 guitar, Line 6 UX2 audio interface and EWQL symphonic instrument plugins with my DAW, REAPER.

From across the universe they came, responding to a signal sent by man including a sample of our culture - music. Like wild fire this "rock music" spread across their world and they became infatuated with the human race.

They are here, reaching out to us, a warm hand of friendship raised to the air, the sign of the devil horns, a common greeting and sign of mutual respect used on Earth.
"We have come to rock with you!"

A serious idea of music being the gap between cultures but the metaphor of aliens etc is not to be taken too seriously. :)

The Infinite Cosmos

A practically finished song, at last. I started this in the summer of 2015 and only just got round to finishing it. 
Based on the story of Gurren Lagann, this song talks about Kamina's death and how it affects Simon.

This is the prequal to another song of mine - Vagrant Soul (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0DIMMED0RQ). This Stained Portait explores the early days of the semi sapient machine, wandering the wasteland after humanity has long since left. Activated by a failing AI, he is now left to explore the dying world.
Vagrant soul explores the end of his life, this explores the beginning. I may fill in the gap between the two songs with a few more pieces and turn this into an EP or album. Time will tell... If that happens I will of course re-do Vagrant Soul in this style.

My Eyes Concealed Part 2

I am MetalRenard, a passionate musician, composer and producer from the UK. I love music for so many reasons, mainly because of its ability to sooth the heart and mind of almost any ill. I write music that I want to hear which means I often write songs that don't fall into a genre although I dabble in many including hard rock, orchestral "soundtrack" and electronica. I enjoy writing music for projects such as games and videos and have done so many times already.

Originally, my goal was to do music for a living. Because of that, I have learnt to produce (mix) music to a high standard using any and every tool I could find.

I see music as a challenge and an adventure. I want to discover every aspect for myself, in my own way so that everything I learn may take on a deeper meaning. I live and breathe the music I create and am proud of what I have accomplished and helped others accomplish.
