Our 23rd EP in the Tales series is in the hands of the Berlin based artist https://soundcloud.com/shelteronwax. Oranienstrasse starts off with a very atmospheric Detroit vibe in the title track followed by the euphoric dub vibes in Nanne. Joining Shelter on Wax we have https://soundcloud.com/moffandtarkin and long time label friend https://soundcloud.com/gnork have a go on the remixes each with their own rendition of Oranienstrasse. The different approaches make for an interesting combination of sounds on the same EP which should give most electronic music fans something to chew on. We first spotted Shelter on Wax some years ago when he released the track ‘Untitled (Pbar Cut)’ which first appeared on a rare dubplate which ended up getting released on Idealistmusic in 2018.

Tales023 - Shelter on Wax - Oranienstrasse (Moff & Tarkin Remix)

We are thrilled to welcome a new artist to the Metamorphic roster and it
is none other than Italian producer Nicola Loporchio recording under his
Nico Lahs moniker!  The prolific Loporchio, hailing from  Bari, is one
of the most accomplished Italian producers out there with previous
releases on Ovum, Poker Flat and Rawax to name a few.  Following a five
year hiatus during which he focused on his Cosmic Garden alias and
started his own vinyl only label Cosmic Rhythm, he drops the Blow Your
Mind EP on Metamorphic, 4 spaced out and atmospheric techno tracks that
showcase his  skills in the studio and match perfectly with the ethos of
the label.
