The Strassburg based crew serves you a genrefluid set with lots of influences from progressive and percussive sounds as well as funky techno and dreamy trance mixed with punchy breaks and bass music. This mix gives you the energy that will guide you through a night full of dancing and surprises. 

"Menthe Poivrée (Pepper mint) - consisting of Ambre, Hunay Saday and ur love affair -  is a collective based in Strasburg, France that wants to bring a little freshness into the local scene. They provide streamings in local venues, have two radio residencies (z.est radio and root) where they invite friends and inspirations and they organise diverse events as well. With their events, Menthe Poivrée brings different creatives together to mix music with vintage, nail art, illustrations or even more. The aim is to create small mental spa moments and to open up the usual binarity between the public and the stage. Menthe poivrée is always looking for new concepts and collaborations, combining the fields of music, audiovisual and aesthetic. The three founders stand for a diverse and inclusive music scene."

Listen to a lot of music that isn't the type of music you DJ, then try to incorporate it into a mix DIY edits in the mix are more fun than playing tracks that are remixes/edits.

Based in Rotterdam with Dutch and Kurdish roots, DJ Shahmaran finds his musical beginnings with @klauwcollective, a platform centering Queer POC folks. Like most of us he felt out of place the majority of his childhood. While restlessly moving from Sofia to Istanbul and back to his homebase in The Hague, DJ Shahmaran sees the importance of unifying and supporting local communities through dance, music, organizing and creating spaces of relationality. Since the focus of KLAUW club nights went beyond the dominant assumed importance of the DJ, his exploration of sound is marked by an eclectic taste and style of mixing that puts importance on the raw elements of improvisation.

Focusing on energy rather than genre, DJ Shahmaran draws inspiration from rave, jungle, juke, electro; anything and everything carried through breakbeat rhythms. He is particularly inspired by the euphoric elements of house, pop, and UK breakbeats while contrasting them with the dark elements of electro and other hi-tech percussive genres. Having a seriously trivial attitude to mixing in general, his mixes are overwhelmingly high in energy marked with episodic moments of reflection. Named after the myth of Shahmaran, his intention with mixing is to lure you into her cave filled with nocturnal critters and together embark on a dramatic journey through escape, ecstacy, and love; the groundwork for you to dance away the contradictions of life.

@Koreatownacid is Korean-born DJ/Producer/Live PA performer from Toronto, she is a classically trained pianist adept at free-form beats that has evolved to create rocking dance rhythms and quirky bangers, creating deconstructed minimalism, free jazz and more avant-garde music mix of techno. She blends experimental hypnotic moods with abstract rhythms and textures to give a fresh perspective. Her DJ sets are eclectic, drawing from house, techno and experimental IDM, and her down-to-earth energy has taken her around the world, from RBMA Bass Camp to Boiler Room, @mutek_montreal and various clubs in Europe and her hometown of Seoul. Over the past 13 years, she has showcased in Seoul, New York, Athens, Berlin, London, Helsinki and Canada and shared the stage with world-class artists such as Floating Points, Objeckt, Overmono, Laurel Halo, Helena Hauff, Leon Vynehall, Pelada, Machinedrum, MoMa Ready, Kyle Halll, Move D, and Yeaji. Along with Roland Canada and Intersessions, KTA is also an educator and mentor when it comes to DJing and live hardware production. She presents an ongoing monthly radio show on Brooklyn, New York's The Lot Radio, exploring genres ranging from Seoul's underground sound to Toronto-area banger.
