Shaknis is a highly talented producer, mixing and mastering nerd, analog gear collector, Eurorack synth builder, and all-around genuine lad. His new album showcases a blend of pure electro with elements of breakbeat. Be sure to grab a cassette, and inside the J-card, you’ll find a picture of the synths he used to create this album. The release date is set for September 20th, available on both tape and digital formats.

A statement? Or self-reflection? Energetic moments of introspection, reflecting inability to fit in to a predefined reality. Shaknis (:/root) comes from a top-level realm where genres blur and expectations dissolve, refusing to conform to any single style or category. The Khoinix Records album titled 'Fire in the Sky' amalgamates the haunting, cinematic elements that defined Ubre Blanca's previous work with their more recent emphasis on the dancefloor, thereby pushing the boundaries of the dark disco sound that the band has become renowned for. Throughout the album, you'll find a diverse array of influences, such as the techno vibes of 'Heatseeker,' the EBM energy of 'Prison Acid,' and the nostalgic echoes of 90s trance in 'Purity Spiral.' 

The unmistakable influence of John Carpenter can be discerned in both the title track and 'Stress Positions.' Notably, 'Stress Positions' is a dark, yet surprisingly danceable composition in a 6/4 time signature, making innovative use of the Roland GR-500 synth guitar while introducing the bass guitar for the first time in Ubre Blanca's discography.

We are always excited to feature artists from Brussels, and today on the Meta Moto platform, we have Bulie Jordeaux with her track "Trajectoire," which will be released on the French label Grande Rousse Disques. The album "Visions" consists of seven songs that take listeners on a sound journey, blending reality with reverie. These seven scenes combine synth pop and dub accents to create dreamlike rhythms bordering on the cosmic, interweaving celestial and ethereal sounds with cavernous and disturbing undertones.
