techno set

Während wir so langsam aber sicher dem Frühling entgegenblicken, das Club-Comeback und barfüßige Open Airs näher rücken, lässt uns dieser neue Februar-Schleichcast schon mal von after-hourigen Festivalmomenten träumen. Aber am besten lässt du diesen Schleichcast nun einfach auf dich wirken und gibst dich der Vorfreude auf Tanzlustbarkeiten hin, während dich @NIL-SON mit viel typisch-treibender Downtempo-Tiefe, sphärisch-mysteriösen und organischen Klängen sowie einem fluffigen Plot-Twist gegen Ende beglückt. Ganz zu schweigen von einem wundervollen Opener, der gleichzeitig das Debut-Release einer in Schneckno-Gefilden gar nicht mal so unbekannten DJ ist. Nach all den Teasern und Spoilern wünschen wir nun vergnügliches Lauschen und Träumen mit Schleichcast°25!

Was NIL SON aka Rico musikmäßig noch so treibt, wenn er nicht gerade Schleichcasts aufnimmt und welcher legendäre Berliner Club seine Vorliebe für etwas weniger Beats pro Minute erst entdecken ließ, liest du hier:

>>Wer bist du und woher kommst du?
Rico, 38, Dresden

>>Wie kamst du zum Auflegen?
Faszination Vinyl :) Mitte der Neunziger wurde Techno gesellschaftsfähig, es liefen Mayday und Co im TV, Radiosendungen wie EvoSonic, Fritz usw. spielten nie gehörten Sound, alte leerstehende Fabrikhallen, für die sich im Osten niemand interessierte, waren auf einmal Partylocations. Ich fuhr dann mit 15 auch das erste Mal auf die Loveparade und ging auf diverse Techno-Partys in und um Dresden, um den DJs auf die Finger zu schauen. Hat aber gedauert, bis ich meine ersten Plattenspieler hatte, 2003 war es dann so weit inkl. viel Platten stöbern in den Dresdner Plattenläden. Hat wieder gedauert, bis ich über Privatpartys hinauskam. 2007 hatte ich dann endlich meinen ersten Club-Gig, damals noch ziemlich technoid, was sich schlagartig mit Eindrücken vor allem aus der Bar25 änderte, wo wir damals regelmäßig feierten. Es wurde fluffiger, housiger, afterhour-lastiger. Und ist es heute noch. Mittlerweile spiel ich aber aus Bequemlichkeit und Vielfaltsgründen überwiegend mit CDJs. Obwohl es noch all meine Platten gibt. ;-)

>>Was gefällt dir besonders an "langsamer" Musik?
Das kam erst mit dem Alter. Haha. Nein Spaß. Ich mag die Energie trotz Entschleunigung, die Power, obwohl man vom Gas geht. Das Melancholische, trotzdem aber auch weirde. Und ich finde es spannend, vor allem viele Klassiker im neuem, gemächlichem Gewand nochmal neu zu entdecken. Trotz all dem spiel ich im Club meist gar nicht allzu langsam und fühl mich weiterhin eher zwischen 115 und 122 BPM am
wohlsten.

>>Was hat dich für das Set inspiriert?

>>An welchen schönen/witzigen/traurigen Moment denkst du in Verbindung mit elektronischer Musik gerne zurück?
Ach, es gibt Momente ohne elektronische Musik?
Ich hab in meinen Anfangsjahren mal Smash TV das Outro versaut, weil ich etwas übermotiviert zu zeitig den Fader hochgezogen hab. Oh man, das war peinlich^^

>>Was wünscht du dir in Zukunft fürs Nachtleben?
Dass es vor allem politisch die Anerkennung bekommt, die es verdient und auch so behandelt wird: Als systemrelevantes Kulturgut betrachtet zu werden! Ich habe das Gefühl, dass es auch nach unendlichen Debatten in der Politik nicht angekommen ist, dass Clubs sowohl wirtschaftlich auch als gesellschaftlich eine immens wichtige Rolle in unserer heutigen Zeit spielen. Austausch, kreativer Input, innovative Ideen, Kontakte knüpfen, Freundschaften finden, Banden bilden. All das bleibt gerade auf der Strecke.

tonight an ukrainian friend (@frolov-ua) should have came  to play at the venue but he could not because of the war. This event shocked me. i'm still shocked. But me and my friend, the organizer of the evening (@mmakossa), founder of HUPUPA label, we decide to play anyway. And we both play for our friend and for all urkinian population, and for PEACE. This is my contribute for that night. Music keep going and so life does. This  is the only thing i can do at the moment to fight against what's happening. Play louder, and believing that music can change the world. fight for my dreams. RESIST.

‚@Woala and @lilithn- Halo‘ is a collaboration between two different characters who never met in real life.
A song about longing - for change and drive.

Halo the optical phenomenon produced by light can have many forms.
For example the circle when you look into the sun. This white rings  stands for confidence and hope as well as logical explantations.
Where light is, darkness becomes small. 
Wherever there is brightness, the desire for progression becomes great. 
Li’lith’s warm and gentle voice wrapped in chord progressions to reinforce these feelings.
