10 is a number that looks very nice. Fresh and friendly it says: „Hey Hello, look, now we are two“ ...the 1 and the 0. The binary base of your civilization. Somehow we got the feeling, we should honor this. Why so ever, lets just do it, because it is beautiful, beacuse our music that we record and produce is also just a binary code, transforming over and over again, from our fingers on the synths, from the mic to the mixer, from the mixer into space, back on black plastics or bluetoothing through your walls directly in your ear...and this just because there is a 1 and a 0. This is why we celebrate, to say thank you to these magic numbers. Without these two little friends we would drum our techno with bones in analog caves. Naked. Oh Wait...that sounds great...the URSL Cave Raves. Mmmmh...well we will keep you in the loop on this new project. In the meantime you can listen to some electronic music from Deckert, Jan Mir and Rampue.

Underneath the moon shadows of the trees, Ma stumbled with weariness. Ba did not know how long they had been walking. With every step he peered at the ground, the light flickering as the lantern swayed in his hand. The forest was full of shapes and shadows and only barely could he see the faint footprints on the ground — it was like searching for a wrinkle in a flower petal. As Ma tripped, he steadied her with his arm. “We should rest,” Ba said. Ma shook her head and pulled away angrily. “We must keep going. We have to find it” “But you are tired,” Ba said, “and I am too. We can rest and afterward we will be able to continue faster.” “I am not tired,” Ma said fiercely. Her irritation seemed to give her energy. “If you are tired, you can rest. But I will continue to look for El Aumento”. Veytik is in constant rise of giving magic to the people. This is his third offering for Shango Records. This track can give you chills n’ thrills and bellyaches. MI.LA and Stephane Salerno are taking a rest underneath the moon shadows of the trees.

Beat & Path have spent two years nurturing talent, throwing their weight behind albums from Sanoi and The Oddness and tracking Uone and Western's treks into gold-rush territory. But it's been 28 months since their last VA release, and Camp Out 001 provides the variety that was set up in 2020's Winter Sampler.

There's an eclectic range of tempos and romp factor here; this compilation being as much about dancing under trees as lying in a fireside cuddle puddle while someone plays amateur astronomer.

Caly Jandro is a regular on the label by now, but with 'Ashes on the Breeze', he shows he's not sticking to any formulas. Over nearly eight minutes, Rhodes stabs and restrained guitar vamps conjure nomads dancing against the flicker of fire. Vocal samples add a dimension of history, lending an Anatolian touch that's guaranteed to project immersive closed-eye visuals, while Addzy's reverb-drenched guitar lines introduce a plaintive, human touch.

The best story in the book of Thousand Nights and One Night is the one in the City of Brass. A crew of explorers, after following a long path marked by sinister statues and a dark castle full of tombs, come to a walled city. On the outer walls they encounter charming young women, who on closer inspection reveal themselves to be cunningly constructed automatons meant to fool invaders into jumping off the walls to their deaths. A few of the men are killed before the illusion is discovered. The rest venture inside, where they find buildings of unbelievable opulence, with every surface seemingly covered in gold and jewels. But the city is ominously silent. The only inhabitants are human corpses, some still sitting in their homes and shops, giving the impression of life frozen in time. The party eventually reaches the city’s queen. Her sparkling eyes cause them to briefly mistake her for a living person, but they soon learn that she too is dead and that the light from her eyes comes from quicksilver placed there by an embalmer. A nearby inscription tells the whole story: the city was struck by a famine, and the people, once they had exhausted every effort to save themselves, went back to their places and awaited their fates. In the end, it’s a cautionary tale about the transience of wealth. Anber is a man of wisdom and true feelings. This is his fourth offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can give light to every dark story. K-os Theory, Max Tenrom and Chalanga live in the land of fairytales.
