Finally time to give this one away!! I've been holding on to for like 3 years! 

This tune Satellite was one of those special tunes I made in one evening, just going with the flow of the sounds and letting them really place themselves based on their relationship to one another. The day I made it I had actually been producing heavier music all day and needed a creative release of something deeper and mellow.

In particular, I started the very first sound you hear in the tune on my Nord Lead 2 hardware synth. I got the rhythm and tempo of the whole tune based on that first patch, and actually recorded about 10 minutes of it evolving, breathing, moving. The dynamic of that patch dictated when and where those ascending synth lines would come in along with the beat and sub bass. From there I decided the tune should be around 6 minutes, which is quite longer than most of my short n sweet 4 minute Dubstep tunes. It's really just one of those tunes to let roll while you're chilling and enjoying who you're with, where you're at, and sending out massive amounts of gratitude for who you are, and who you are with at any given moment. I hope you enjoy!!

Metaphase is an electronic music Producer and Drummer for the fire-fueled circus Lucent Dossier, and he is half of the production duo Trowa, another taste making dance music project. As
a producer, he has released as Trowa and Metaphase on several
well-known labels such as Dim Mak, Play Me, Teenage Riot, and Heavy
Artillery. Metaphase has also studied World Percussion and Composition
with some of the worlds most respected musicians (Swappan Chaudhuri,
Randy Gloss, David Johnson, Art Jarvenin, Ann Lebaron, Joe LeBarbera)
at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), completing a BFA in
Music in 2006 .
