A meteor hits earth somewhere in Africa, and some scientists use the never-before-seen resources within to develop a new power source. They install the prototype into a Reploid code named Aleph, who is then marketed to the world as the next evolution of Reploid kind. Sigma, having eyes on these events since the beginning, decides to move. He hires a team of mercenaries to capture Aleph so he can harness the power for himself.
