Pete ist einer der Köpfe hinter den Heidelberger Party-Reihen Down the Rabbit Hole und HIVE.
Seit bald 20 Jahren steht er hinter den Decks, legt am liebsten mit Platten auf, meistens jedoch nur bei sich zu Hause, mit einem einzigen Fan, seinem 2 jährigen Sohn Felix. Sein Musik-Geschmack ist geprägt durch die Jahre im Ausland und das spiegelt sich auch in diesem Mix wieder.

"Dieser Podcast war eine wundervolle Platform um auch mal Sachen zu spielen, die ich nie vor Publikum spielen würde. Es sind auch ein paar meiner all-time favourite Tunes mit dabei, die mich seit Jahren begleiten, mich immer wieder flashen und deswegen  auch mal atmen lasse indem ich sie von Anfang bis Ende durchspiele. In der ersten Hälfte besuche ich Beats um die 85 - 100 BPM. In der zweiten werde ich deutlich schneller und lande bei ca. 140 BPM, denn nach über einem Jahrzehnt fast ausschließlich DNB ist UK Garage meine neue Flamme. Enjoy!"

Detailed Biography:

Metaphysics' introduction to Drum & Bass occurred in 2010, captivated by the dark sounds of Geneva's night life. Upon relocating to Heidelberg, he found himself at the heart of the Rhine-Neckar area's diverse Drum & Bass scene, a change of scenery that ignited a passion that would soon define his musical path.

Since 2013, Metaphysics has played his music at local events, captivating audiences with his unique blend of sounds. Beyond his performances, he has co-organized both indoor and outdoor events, such as the "Bassment Sessions" and "Down The Rabbit Hole." 

His DJ sets are distinguished by their journey-like quality, seamlessly transitioning from the soothing layers of Liquid Drum & Bass to the more intense and edgy realms of the genre.
