A few weeks ago I started easing myself into composing on a more regular schedule. More regular (currently) meaning "half an hour every few days". I'll step it up with time, it just depends on how much I can work without burning myself out. But hey, even once every three days is a hell of a lot better than once in a blue moon when inspiration strikes.

Anyway, this was the first result of my new routine. It's based on some concepts I had for the shmup project. Can't help but think it feels a bit rushed, though, and I might remake this sometime after I've improved a lot more. Right now adopting a better schedule is more important.
