Cela va faire plusieurs années que 憂鬱, un de mes artistes préférés, ne dévoile plus aucun morceau et ne donne pratiquement plus de nouvelles de lui depuis 2018 à 2019. C'est en redécouvrant son travail, ce mois-ci, que je me suis rappelé d'une chose : c'est l'artiste qui m'a donné envie de faire de la musique. Je me suis donc décidé à faire un morceau tribute en reprenant son style et en y rajoutant ma patte, de la plus sincère des manières.
Je me suis inspiré de mes morceaux préférés de sa discographie, comme Slow, Heart, Vertigo, ou bien 2099.
J'espère que tu vas revenir un jour, et si ça ne sera pas le cas, je veux juste te dire merci pour tout. ❤

Hi guys !
After several months without releasing anything, I'm back with an album! It symbolizes a renewal in my discography, and I intend to continue in this direction, putting chillwave aside. This album will be officially released on November 25th but I'm releasing it early here, because within my soundcloud community, there are artists and listeners who have followed me since the beginning and who have supported me a lot during my "chillwave period “ and during the 2020 lockdown, which brought us a lot closer. I hope not to lose y'all by taking this turn. Thank you very much for everything.

this album was made over a long period of time partially coinciding with amber. some of this stuff was made while bedridden and on a heavy dose of oxycontin after almost dying from internal bleeding so the tone and techniques vary throughout the album. i hope you guys like it. thanks for listening!!!

porcelain

made with a variety of different analog, '80s synthesizers and drum sample floppy disks ran into a roland s-550. a good deal of the album was created after i moved into a comically small apartment and started college, and switched up my signal routings. lots of techniques! you can email me if you have any specific questions about the creation of this album.

(this isn't the big album i've been working on the past 2 years, that one's a much different tone. i've been working on this for about a year and a half concurrently with the big album, this is me getting that synths + drum machine itch scratched lol.)
