On this 1st single Hybrid gives you a proper look in on this monster LP with “First Rule,” an essential vocal heater featuring the OJ MC Foxy as well as a 2021 Remix of “Stay High,” a stand out track featuring rising star MC Haribo originally taken off Hybrid’s 2018 Street Series. This LP is a massive undertaking that is both musically moving, and historically relevant as it marks the unity between two label heads and leaders in the Jungle Drum and Bass scene from across the globe.

This is the second album sampler taken from the forthcoming 'Circadian Rhythms' LP by Kolectiv, offering a glimpse of the full 18-track journey.

Conceived as more than just a collection of tunes, the record unfolds like a night at a Drum & Bass rave. It begins with the first bassline pulling you in, builds into full peak-time intensity, and closes with reflective sounds that carry you home.

Written in the wake of the pandemic, 'Circadian Rhythms' stands as both a rebirth and a tribute to the culture that shaped Kolectiv. Much of the project was created from scratch, with the duo recording live drums, keys, and guitars, then weaving them together with original sound design. Carefully selected vocal collaborations bring depth and emotion, while atmospheric interludes give the album a cinematic flow from start to finish.

Mixed down in their newly upgraded studio, the LP balances technical precision with heartfelt expression. It is a journey, a statement, and a love letter to Drum & Bass in all its shades. The full project also features standout vocal work from PAV4N, Hijak MC, Illmatika, and Kerry Donnelly.

Liftin’ Spirits (aka Ant Miles of Origin Unknown), donning his Ironic pseudonym for the first time in many years, provides a rolling VIP that stays close to the original but elevates it.
Friske, one of the most enigmatic artists in drum & bass today, who has remained firmly under the radar despite collaborations with artists like Goldie, offers a reflective, refined rendition reminiscent of Subject 13 and Arctix.
In addition to the three remixes, Persuasion adds a new track, Marked, which rounds off the EP with fierce drums and the “Demon Poetry” sample that inspired the NTS Radio show of the same name.
