Robert Normann was one of the pioneers of jazz in Norway. Even though it was said that he could play like Django Reinhardt and he was invited to America to play with jazz greats like Benny Goodman and Barney Kessel, he was never interested in a life of fame. Here is a little tribute to his legacy.

I first wrote a melody in a minor key that i called Longing due to its dark and sorrowful melody. Then i wrote this melody, which had a lot in common, except it was in a major key. It somehow felt that the longing had ended, so i had to call it But No Longer.
