Dreams Come True

I used to live on East Fremont, across from the Blue Angel.  I listened to this track a lot when I was there ;)

I wrote this song as a conclusion to my previous work on this project. The title translates to "Life | Death" which signifies the end but also the beginning of something new. Hence my project @deathandrebirth was born.

This piece was designed to bring closure to the theme of individuality, about letting go of anything or anyone else, being able to stand on your own as you continue forward. 

Endings are not bad things, they just mean that something else is about to begin. And there are many things that don't really end, anyway, they just begin again in a new way. Saying goodbye doesn't mean anything. It's the time we spent together that matters, not how we left it. The memories we created. Some memories never fade, and I believe that keeps us connected, transcending anything physical. No matter what happens, some memories can never be replaced. 

To come full circle, this song was somewhat inspired by Clannad: After Story like I was with The Garden of Escapism. I will leave you with this quote. 

"Meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me. I don’t want you to be lost or afraid or anything like that. From here on out, I know things might be hard sometimes. But no matter what, please don’t ever regret the time we spent together."

With this, The Garden collection draws to a close. I can now say: "It has come to a final stop" :)

Disclaimer: This isn't bass music, and it doesn't have a drop, and it's not hella lit. 

I wrote one last song for 2015, kind of looking back over the ups and downs of this year. I wrote and recorded this in about a day, it was an accident but a good one at that. This is just my way of saying goodbye to this year and leaving a lot of things behind like a time capsule, and welcoming in 2016 and all the big things that are going to come with it.

My apologies if you don't like the song. There's more heavy bass music on the way, and it's gonna be good. But every now and then I take a step in another direction and make something new for Dr. Deimos. Three cheers for not conforming to genres!
