Why3

"The Black/White Oratorio" is an epic minimalist poem by Robert Lax that is comprised entirely of the names of colors, and is meant to be read aloud by a chorus. It takes about 35 minutes to read, and there's an intense interplay between soloists, small groups, and the whole group in unison. It is a highly repetitive, cadenced, hypnotic, and - some say - hallucinogenic experience.

Japanese Traditional Gagaku composition recreated with train whistle samples by Naing Naing (列車の笛の音で作った雅楽). This is a excerpt from NAING NAING 29 minutes piece of traveling Washing Machine music : as the song evolves it incorporates train sounds as well and crosses several countries with sounds from Iran, India, China, sea sounds and a length japanese part from which the upload part is extracted. While making this I was very impressed by the precision and accuracy of japanese musicians playing Shō (笙). They can slide up herz by herz !!! (the most precise portamento ever :)) I also included the next part made of train rail squeaking on the sidings. Those delicate melodies are are punctuated by dry and wet No theater percussions. And that part segues into a genuine Bollywood I will upload separately.

Train Whistle Gagaku + Sidings Squeaks - Excerpt From Washing Machine Goes To Froggland

I am an artist and experimental musician. I will be posting my tangents of music that I think are interesting. They represent part of the musical creation but are not necessarily completed works. 

I am interested in creating cacophonous, dissident, and, glitchy music. I want there to be a broken down quality to it, where tempo, musical progression, and harmony are less structured and sometimes barely coherent in the work. I work with only physical musical instruments and only have digital sound present from manipulations of these sounds. I construct many of my own experimental instruments for this very purpose and am interested in digital like sound from a physical instrument.
