This week we welcome, fresh from their smashing set at Beyond The Valley, Melbourne duet Bound. For this edition we take a trip to the main stage at the festival, big melodic and deeply emotional tracks.

Blurring the lines through a dynamic blend of melodic and progressive soundscapes, Bound are gaining a reputation for unearthing a style that is uniquely their own. 

An affliction for deep driving basslines partnered with high energy tonal melodies, Bound’s signature sound is gaining recognition for its multi-faceted nature. 

Establishing a foothold in the Australian electronic scene, Bound have now positioned themselves into international waters via multiple releases on European labels.

We are delighted to introduce Otherhalf as our first Juncyard Sessions Guest Mix. We first met when Carina played our End of Summer Party last year, just before their debut production 'Ancestral' was released on Melbourne-based label @ugenius-music, and their excitement to showcase their unique, personal sound was palpable. There are big things to come from this talented pair as they work on new music and remixes in the coming months - we can't wait to see what's in store.

For Juncyard Sessions Vol. 5, the duo have curated a captivating mix that encapsulates their eclectic sound ahead of their debut performance at WILD-VOODOO on 29th April - you will not want to miss this!

Otherhalf is a London-based music production and DJ partnership consisting of duo DJ Carina Lawrence and her husband Kim. Originally from Australia, and with a musical background etched in South African roots, this in-sync pair form a fresh and dynamic combo, as seen through both their slick productions and their mesmerising DJ sets.

Amara Dan, aka Mara was born 1972nd In March, Budapest.
She is addicted from the deep dark progressive house, progressive and dark techno, and tribal. Started mixing cca 11 years ago, just for fun, to herself.. and than shared that mix with her facebook friends, and the result was a big surprise. She had more than 5000 listeners on that mix, and some online radio station immediately asked her to be DJ.

She said yes and so she had a weekly show, and three monthly shows (on three different radio-station), and also she was a guest many times in other radio stations too.
