David Hasert & Matteo Luis - Watermelon 

David Hasert is back on Dantze. This time he teamed up with his Cologne fellow Matteo Luis. Their main track is useful for refreshing morning hours in the club, like a watermelon. The second original like in the tradition of Mozart, bewigged, white powdered for a serious trip. Additional remixes by Tim Engelhardt and Niju create different tastes for a nice fruit basket.

Sideral is the debut 12'' of Talaboman, the super-duo of Hivern Discs' John Talabot and Studio Barnhus' Axel Boman. The record is released as a joint venture between the labels and comes with a slow-burning remix by Köln-based producer Matt Karmil to accompany the boombastic original version, which was also featured on John Talabot's much praised entry in the DJ-Kicks mix series last year. 

This record is dedicated to the legendary dj Aleix “Sideral” Vergés, who ruled over Barcelona's underground discotecas during the turn of the millennium and sadly passed away in 2006. A truly fearless and idiosyncratic dj, Sideral mixed genres wildly and brilliantly, uniting in the dance people from all kinds of musical backgrounds. At a time when few djs dared cross musical borders, he was a real inspiration for both the Barcelona native Talabot and the young Swede Boman, who lived in the city during the peak of Sideral's reign.

ARIA SERIES [013] - PHIORIO

Spectrograph are a post-industrial and electronic project formed in 2012 by electronic/dance producer and dj Phiorio (Metroline Limited)  and singer/multi-instrumentalist Virginia Bones (then co-founder and singer of dream pop/shoegaze duo Geography Of The Moon).  Their  debut EP "A Giant Leap Of Faith" is set for release on 27th November on Depths.

The project began when Phiorio started mixing and post-producing a number of experimental sounds and vocal lines recorded by Bones. The EP is a post-industrial mixture of rough and mechanical textures which melt obsessive sounds a la Die Form with Bone’s avant-garde vocals. The rhythm is a claustrophobic circle of noir and psychotic atmospheres emphasised by Bone’s processed noises. 

The music across the four tracks draws inspirations from various styles and artists that influenced the duo’s musical taste. There are hints of Death In June, Vatican Shadow, The Cure, Dead Can Dance in there. All the elements have been stitched together with a distinct electronic style of production and arrangement resulting in four imaginary remixes of original tracks that never existed.
