We are proud to present “Masacre” , the new EP from mexican artist Datura Inoxia. The release contains five original tracks showcasing Datura Inoxia’s personal take on EBM, plus three remixes from Invalid User (Col), Efe Ce Ele (Col) and Spinal (Ch). Datura Inoxia “Toloache” was born as a dancefloor music project since 2022 performed by Christian Cassale, creating obscure atmospheres from Mexico City. Techno-EBM based in dark rhythms reflecting distorted feelings as love and loneliness, recording vocals and lyrics influenced by post punk.Masacre is based in a true story : During the year 1968 before the Olympic Games, on October 2nd, a crowd of students rises their voices against the repression of the Mexican government.During the movement, the Mexican government used police, military and paramilitary forces,killing 400 students in the plaza de las tres culturas in Mexico City, this event is known as “the
Tlatelolco massacre”.

Analog Concept keeps the sounds booming hard with Is M-City Still Alive? from Blank Card. Step into a place where Detroit, merges with Miami and the UK with 'Transition' leading the way through the heaviest bass, and nice dubby acid arpeggio flavor for winning ways, complete with funky basslines and 808 cowbell delays. 'You Know Why' is next providing a most proper hybrid of electro bass, breaks, and early '90s UK techno style chord melody, complimented by a dominating bassline and robotic dark vocals; RSN provides the remix further expanding the electrobass personality and lysergic dynamic through lush escapes, subterranean atmospheres, and smooth electro rhythm shuffling with sweet acidic peaks. The 13th release on Desert Hearts Records is appropriately our most sinister EP to date and comes from up & coming LA based "weirdo house" producer, Fritz Carlton.

The first track on the EP is titled 'Doses' comes from Fritz and fellow LA based producer, Lubelski. Featuring sinister lyrics from rapper Daemon, this hip-house party anthem is so facetiously over the top it reminds us of the devil on your shoulder when you're partying at 5 in the morning. Let's be real here, we all like to get silly on the dance floor, so why do we pretend like it's not happening? Why can't we talk about these things? With a downright evil bassline and off beat snare drum patterns to accompany the lyrics, 'Doses' is sure to ruffle some feathers and murder dance floors across the world.

The title track 'T.M.K.N.' wraps up the whole vibe of the release as a grueling bassline is paired with a sinister pitched down vocal proudly announcing "That's My Kinda Night". With snare drums and tweaked out wobbles galore, we think you get to know Frtiz Carlton pretty well by the end of the EP. We think this debauchery loving weirdo is going to fit in very nicely at Desert Hearts Records.
