Delicate Records sheds it’s soft sensitive skin; evolving through a callous cross-Canadian melding of the minds. Dosis is Nap (Isla / Ambien Baby) and ZDBT (1800HaightStreet / Phost), an organically masterful combination; the partnership conjuring instinctive chantings of the deep with Naranja and it’s frisky B side dub. 
 
The title track is a drill in percussive practice, a repetition session for body release. With furious inhale, a grating of timbres and captivating clap-backs are sucked in through the senses, trickling down to the toes. Lured by swampy wubs of sub, amoebic roots in drums and primal hymns drenched out past the horizon. The essence of erosion seeps through on the flip; Nap’s imitable vocals finding a home in a hypnotic habitat, stretched duration and gorgeous frolic. A drop into dubby bliss; shrieking skritches and distortions fly rogue, yet discover curious harmony.

Fresh off the success of his recent release on Radiant Records titled "Hyperdelic," Kasra is submerging listeners with a signature sound touching on dance music visions from different epochs but harnessing a unique aural palette.

Kasra applies cut up techniques with sampling and utilizing his own voice as a tool throughout the record, topping the club energy with a punk rock sensibility.

Equal parts eccentric and equal parts calculated, the tempest of this record is doused in wild elements: anthemic vocal samples with arena shaking capabilities, 80's hedonistic nostalgia, catchy utopian vibrations with a psychedelic cyber flair, flirting with inspiration from groups like Meat Beat Manifesto and YMO. Euphoric and aerated, but with a slicing undertone utilizing his freaky sampling prowess.

Faux Poly welcome Nottingham based producer Jack Wright aka Croft to the label family with his latest offering Worktops, a set of heavyweight club tools spanning Techno, Electro and Bass.

Having previously released on Scuffed Recordings, Left Right & Centre & MNSHN Records among others, Croft has carved out his sound by extracting unpredictable and undeniably unique melodies and grooves from generally atonal hardware experiments. The result is a beautifully leftfield, groove focussed EP.

Rarely do albums strike quickly and establish themselves as a must-listen but Iridescent, the latest from Aussies Pugilist and Pod, forth-coming on Of Paradise does exactly that. Fans of the Melbourne based artists shouldn’t be surprised at all, Pugilist’s commanding grip on proper sound design always has his tracks on rotation around the scene. Meanwhile Pod, aka Wu Kush is no stranger to well executed housey productions, although for today, we’ll be honing in on his bass, and jungle moniker.

Mystic slides in at B2 on the 8 track release (9 with a digital bonus track). Low slung bass lines, and jungle like percussion start the track off strongly. Giving great feelings of groove and movement, as snappy bongos and flitting accents play off each other, panned too and fro. As the track progresses, a simple yet effective melody materializes - reminiscent of a night out with moody pads.

Expect Pugilist and Pod’s Iridescent release hitting the shelves, and out digitally on the 29th of November.

'Floating, Glowing' is the latest release by producer RXEX, finding a home on much-loved Naarm/Melbourne-based label Backpocket Slammers. 

"A six-track voyage through shadowy low-end terrain," 'Floating, Glowing' is a mix of introspection and build, perfectly articulating the forward-thinking approach to Australia's more experimental takes on dance floor psychedelia, featuring remixes by none other than Andy Garvey and Autogenesis.

'Bone Whistler', premiered here, is a heaving mix of dubstep and half-time drum & bass, consistently shifting its shape but with a consistent dedication to weighty percussion. 

Of the track, RXEX shared a similar kind of smokey mystique:

"Exhale decaying rhythms, glowing and dissolving into shadow — inhale the unknown, floating light of fractured realms, rising from the dreams of silent nights."
