After gaining international recognition for his first solo album, Soul Pirate, Alborosie continues to inspire a generation of reggae enthusiasts. In 2011, he copped the prestigious MOBO Award for the best reggae act. Recently, with new singles “Listen to the Waves” and “Unprecedented Time,” released during the global lockdown, the Italian reggae ambassador addresses societal issues regarding the pandemic and the ongoing struggle against inequality and police brutality.
