Coming in hot with a double sided rhythmic saunter, Metta and Entangled Mind mingle their sonic musings on the Friendz EP. The two tracks "Friendz" and "Calm Before The Storm" dance with individual gaits and mutual palettes, bringing a honed in collection of textures, tones, and movements to their zenith.

The suite of sharp percussive samples and audio slices bounces particulate effects between crisp transients, and each successive bar and phrase rolls into shuffles, turnarounds, and juggled rhythms. Warped, buoyant synthesis wraps both polar ends of the frequency spectrum with warm note relationships and sapient melodies, mediating a velvet vibe across the EP.

If silk-laden dives into texture and harmony is your flavor of choice, you'll be hard pressed to find the fault lines in the Friendz EP.

This project is my attempt to communicate through sound and spread a loving message. I'm using audio quotes from podcasts I love and laying them over some of my favorite ambient/downtempo tunes to create a kind of sonic emotional experience designed to inspire unity, healing, compassion and human connection. I will link all songs and podcast sources in the song descriptions to promote all the artists and encourage people to dive deeper. Podcasts have changed my life, and I want to share them with the world! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do <3

Mettamorphosis

Hello fellow sentient sacks of stardust! I'm an avid podcast listener who's been collecting podcast clips from some of my favorite humans for years now. This project is my attempt to condense and distill many of my favorite teachings into relatively short digestible clips. I've spent silly amounts of time organizing, compiling and editing these clips with the hope that they might help some other cosmic travelers on this wild ride we call life... He has touched countless lives with his teachings, which helped popularize Eastern spirituality and yoga in the West. I always find myself going back to Ram Dass' recorded lectures and feeling him open my heart once again with his loving presence and profound teachings. 

In this clip compilation, Ram Dass explores how to fulfill your role and honor your incarnation as part of a political system, without pushing it away or getting too caught up in it. This is one of those teachings that continued to work through me and deepen over time, especially amidst the chaos the extraordinarily divisive political landscape we live in today...

Coming in hot with a double sided rhythmic saunter, Metta and Entangled Mind mingle their sonic musings on the Friendz EP. The two tracks "Friendz" and "Calm Before The Storm" dance with individual gaits and mutual palettes, bringing a honed in collection of textures, tones, and movements to their zenith. 

The suite of sharp percussive samples and audio slices bounces particulate effects between crisp transients, and each successive bar and phrase rolls into shuffles, turnarounds, and juggled rhythms. Warped, buoyant synthesis wraps both polar ends of the frequency spectrum with warm note relationships and sapient melodies, mediating a velvet vibe across the EP. 

If silk-laden dives into texture and harmony is your flavor of choice, you'll be hard pressed to find the fault lines in the Friendz EP.
