In order to catch the vibe of modern drill music we started analyzing songs by artists, including Poundz, Digga D and Loski. Next up we recreated all the common sounds, patterns and characteristics + gave some of the sounds our own, unique twist.

Drillers is filled with plenty of drum one shots you can use to program your own drum beats, but also comes with hat and snare loops inspired by popular songs of the genre. In addition to the key-labeled 808 samples we also produced some sliding 808 loops and made sure to include matching MIDI files so you can switch up their sounds.

Free Drill Sample Pack “Drillers”

The eight-channel sound installation Gate (2019) is a sonic transitional space, it is an experiment investigating how auditory perception manifests in other bodily sensations such as vision, senses of texture and speed, and how such sensations contribute to the perception of space.

While the current physical space remains visually unchanged, sound breaks the stillness and transforms it into a sonic space by its constant evolvement and movement. Although invisible, the sonic space relies on physical relations, 'transporting' the perceivers to 'travel' through different spaces by bringing constant forthcoming and progressing sonic events.
