Bio:
Oscar Sanchez has been involved in the world of electronic music since the early 2000s. At 16, he got his first akiyama turntables and vinyl records, which he used to practice in his bedroom while also recording the "techno culture" program broadcast on Loca FM every week, which he listened to nonstop on a vintage Walkman. He's been fortunate enough to share the booth at festivals and parties in the downtown area with artists such as Cristian Varela, Cristian Wunch, Nuke, Pelacha, Raúl Parra, and many others. He's played in venues such as Family Club and Area 42, and at festivals such as the Oasis Summer Festival.

Since 2017, he has delved into the world of production, releasing tracks on labels such as Unity Records, Dolma, Crash, Transfiguration, WRD, Vezotonic, Plastic Toys, Beats HD, Black Square, Elektrax, Xelima, and Diffuse Reality. He has recently signed collaborations with Kneaded Pains, MEUK, 09Recordings, and The Acid Mind.

His sessions are marked by a rhythmic and forceful sound influenced by old-school techno.

▪️¿Como definirías tu estilo musical?

Me encantan los sonidos con mucho groove, hipnóticos, pero a la vez con bajos contundentes. Estoy en el proceso de no quedarme mezclando un solo género dentro de un mismo set, sino romper con los esquemas y meter otros sonidos nuevos que conecten conmigo y el público.

▪️Si pudieras tocar en cualquier lugar del mundo, ¿Cuál sería?

Creo que tengo muchos lugares a los que me sueño ir, pero uno de ellos sería Berlín.

▪️¿Qué consejo le darías a alguien que quiere comenzar su carrera como DJ hoy en día?

Creo que el ser DJ es un arte que hay que tomar en serio. Mi consejo es que si quieren serlo, le metan duro para ser grandiosos en esto. Esto requiere de mucha dedicación y sobre todo pasión porque cuando se conectan con la música, el mundo vibra bonito. Mucha paciencia porque el camino es largo y por más culebrero que llegue a ser, todo se puede lograr.
