Clocking in on A Tribe Called Kotori with his hypnotizing latest single, 'The Journey', Italian vibist Matteo Rivetto turns in two cuts oozing pure life-affirming escapism. Subtle arrangements of brittle piano chords and vaporous vocals out a cottony dreamscape overarch an earthly mix of rattling percussions and languid pad motion, fusing spiritual ethereality with an earthly sense of belonging. A further stripped-down and highly cinematic piece of electro-acoustics, 'African Melodique' merges post-balearic guitar riffs with typical polyrhythms from Alkebulan, slowly evolving into a synth-folk type of contemplative hybrid. Two songs cut from the same cloth, vibrant and poignant, moving in between sheer soul-healing abstraction and ancestral remembrance. A fascinating voyage in sound.

On this episode, they share with us a two-track deep house EP featuring "Saturn & Back" and "Everything Always" - seductive grooves and hypnotic atmospheres, with flavours of jazz and space.

Spring has arrived with a special moment for the Saisons family as we welcome a release from one of our very own co-founders.

Vincent, better known as @dobmusique , emerges from behind the scenes to present his first EP "Oblivion". The Montréal-based artist has been an artistic force quietly shaping our label's sonic identity from the beginning, acting as the A&R of the imprint.

"Stasis" opens with pulsating rhythms and rich textures, gradually unfolding into a cosmic journey where organic elements and electronic precision find perfect harmony. The title track, "Oblivion", ventures deeper—cascading melodies, immersive soundscapes, and hypnotic percussion build toward a transcendental climax.

Both tracks showcase döb's signature approach: meticulous sound design with emotional depth. Drawing from his experience as one half of Döppel Mind and as a curator at Saisons, his productions weave narratives that transform dance floors into gravity-free sonic scapes.

Russian duo Doyeq return to Kiosk ID with Sequence 8—a radiant three-tracker that navigates the edges of groove and abstraction, diving deep into three distinct soundscapes. Across a triad of originals and a remix by Mexico’s Nada, catalog no. 37 unfolds beautifully engineered layers of melodic storytelling, striking a delicate balance between sonic opulence and spacious restraint.  

Doyeq open their EP with Sequence 8 and its vast, maximalist orchestra of shimmering arpeggios and warm, enveloping saws. Drawing its power from the hypnotic interplay of shifting tones, textures, and timbres, the track offers a masterclass in harmonic layering—ornate yet feather-light, powerfully maximal yet enrapturing and approachable. A slow-burning journey that fuses intricacy with flow.   

Where Sequence 8 is lush and melodically opulent, Broken Space pulls its complexity from a searing found-sound-inspired array of sizzles, lasers, and impacts. Set against a stripped yet throbbing beat, the track reveals a buzzing, glitchy cosmos where metallic hits and tactile effects propel the groove forward—elegantly grounded by resonant bells, a rolling bassline, and an irresistibly catchy lead.   

On LFO, Doyeq dive into a lush, electric jungle of chirps, blips, ethnic drums, and kinetic pads, anchored by a growling saw and a driving, techy groove. Equal parts soothing auditory journey and playful dancefloor burner, it’s a smashing jungle groover laced with wonder, brightness, and tongue-in- cheek flair.   

Nada’s remix of LFO transforms the original into a sprawling, downtempo meditation. Vast, lamenting sawtooth tones stretch across a sparse, growling sub-texture, while escalating noise patterns and chirpy lasers rise and collapse in waves above. Unfolding with deliberate patience, Nada peels back the layers of the original’s emotional DNA—committing to every modulation, every morphing contour with uncompromising artistic rigor.   

With Sequence 8, Doyeq refine their deep blend of melodic maximalism, channeling their craft into a captivating fusion of avant-garde vision and floor-focused sensibility. The result is a rarified blend of electronic music—rich in texture, brimming with feeling, and inviting both body and mind to explore the microcosms within.

This LP resonates with the label on many levels. The originals, true to
LUMs sound and nature display his inner world, "LUM is above all a
spiritual encounter, a ritual séance for the acquisition of one’s essence, a ceremony...".
Well rounded and truly individual are the remixes that complete the release. Julioo, debuts with a heavier darker take on the original. Ohm Hourani, hailing from Montreal take the original under his analog wings and delivers two live jam versions set as vinyl and digital only respectively.
