Originally planned as an interlude between some tracks for a release, this one minute 44 seconds shorty comes here to stay as it is and what it is: a in no time crafted draft out of a jam with dear Clara Zeta - The mood of this interlude let’s me feel a doubt- and thoughtful me watching the horizon for hope and more light. I wonder what you may feel <3

Tight Air (Interlude)

By lovely scenographer Barbara Pulli I was invited to create some music for „Vanitas, Gedankenspiele über Eitelkeit und Vergänglichkeit“ - an exhibition at Museum Fram in Einsiedeln (Switzerland). Inside the exhibition there is also a theatre play for which I contributed two additional musical works.

The exhibition shows various exhibits that remind the viewer of the shortness and fragility of life. The lively confrontation with death is to me very important and a regular train of thought in my everyday life. It enables me to see the beauty of the moment.

To accomplish this work was a great journey and thankfully extended my perspective as a music producer.

What Remains (Exhibition Edit)

Von Allenberg's third release is a dedicated showcase of the wonderful voice of AV Nadine, hailing from Switzerland. Having been a singer, choirmaster, and vocal coach for many years, these three soulful songs represent her initial foray into more electronically infused music. Rather than mere small steps, they signify significant strides, as her utmost creative impact extends beyond contributing vocals to include self-recorded samples in all three tracks. It brings us great joy to announce that Von Allenberg is already in the process of preparing more music from AV Nadine and Mewa, which will be released later this year.

Little delayed, but here's the recording of my set at Nation of Gondwana Festival from a couple of weeks ago. It was my first time at Nation and I was only there for 24 hours, but it was overwhelming in the best way. So many warm, friendly people and a festival that comes alive at night with incredible visual art and music to explore. I can totally see why so many keep coming back every year, it truly has its own special vibe. And I’m happy I got to be part of it this year…and even happier they asked if I could imagine playing one of those slower sets again. It was pure fun and made me realise how much I’d actually missed it! Big thanks to everyone who joined me early Sunday morning at Spelunke and flowed with me through the sunrise 🩵

Ziemlich angeschlagen und dennoch in Abriss-Stimmung hatte ich Euch bouncig von Samstag zu Sonntag durch die Nacht getript. Dieser Ritt war meine Heilung Leute! Ich hab' mich mit Euch allen & jedem Einzelnen so verbunden gefühlt.. ..das ging echt tief. Was für'n wirbelndes Tänzchen. Die Eule steht zwischen dem Diesseits und dem Jenseits, zwischen Tag und Nacht, zwischen Leben und Tod. Wer mit ihr in Verbindung steht, hat Teil an Erkenntnissen aus anderen Sphären. Doch wer sich auf sie einlässt, muss sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass das Wissen der Eule auch mit den eigenen Schwächen und Mängeln konfrontiert. In ihr begegnen wir unseren Schatten.
Diese Begegnung kann schmerzhaft sein und unser ganzes bisheriges Leben infrage stellen. Aber die Eule schenkt zudem die Kraft der Wandlung. Ihre Magie verspricht uns, dass wir nicht mehr dieselben sein werden - sondern etwas Besseres.

Wer die dunklen Seiten des Lebens nicht fürchtet, sondern sich ihnen mutig stellt, wird gereift aus dieser Konfrontation hervorgehen und an Weisheit gewinnen.

Mewa Clara Zeta vereinen auf ihrem aktuellen Release vier downtempo Tracks, welche sich um Genres wie Electronica und Indie Dance bewegen. Besonders der Titeltrack "Kurt" lässt mit seiner im Hintergrund gleitenden Schweineorgel erahnen, dass sich Mewa und Clara Zeta in der Benennung der Tracks von John Carpenter's Kultfilm "Escape from New York" aus dem Jahre 1981 inspirieren liessen, in welchem Kurt Russell den Titelhelden Snake Plissken spielt. Matija's deeper Remix nimmt die Schweineorgel gekonnt auf und krönt sie beinahe zum Hauptelement seiner musikalischen Orientierung. Der dritte Track dieser EP, „The Bridge“, lädt auf eine kontrastreiche Reise ein, deren Verträumtheit der Abschlusstrack „Up The Wall“ trügerisch aufnimmt, ehe er seinen bitterbösen Einschlag offenbart.
