This is another one of my favorite songs by ATOLS and I've rendered vocals for Tsux many times with it throughout my years using UTAU. And the only real reason why I never fully put it together was because I couldn't find an off-vocal for it (also back then it was with Tsux's CV ASTRAL-- so very old-- and therefore the old render was outdated).

And then I redownloaded it again at one point, rendered a little to hear how it would sound with Tsux's ADVENT VB, and got rid of the UST thinking I'd never find the off-vocal.

. . . And then I found it. ( ; v; )

I don't keep every UST I download because I want to clean my computer space. This is whatever I was able to patch together and I think she sounded so perfect too, aaaghhh. (If anyone knows where I could get this UST again without scary viruses eating my computer, I'd really appreciate it.)

I may as well share this short cover here so we can keep listening to it.

So, Youtube's doing this crazy copyright sweep where a lot of VocaUTAU users are losing their covers and whatnot-- I got like at least three of my covers blocked in my own country.  :Y

It especially comes from huge-name composers such as sasakure-uk here, and being that I just happened to have made a new cover of one of their songs, I don't think there will ever be another time where I can upload it to Youtube.

Anywho, I really am happy with the mixing, save for a few volume-based inconsistencies, but at least Ni's got herself a nice, new cover to have her feel alive n' well.

This doesn't even have the VC parts in it still, but I'm just really happy with how smooth everything generally sounds despite any inconsistencies in the recordings...! But no worries, I'll be sure to touch on those parts after the first half of configuring!( ; c; )

Not to mention, I've still got a long way to go with oto-ing this, and... Uh, that other VB I had still lying around... Oh boy.

Buu~ I really wanted to make an actual video for this, but with the workload I have for this quarter at university-- plus other things that I have still hardly progressed in, school-wise-- I just didn't have the time.

That aside, I should at least share this somewhere, since this is around the last test-cover I have for Tsux's CVVC that doesn't use the VC components.

Which means, I should be getting to fully applying CVVC in covers very soon! Though, I'll miss the feel of the consonants in this old oto, it's okay, it's a part of progress. :>

I've been trying to find some song that would let me try out Tsux's lower octave in her VCV, which usually involves some nice robotic-sounding tunes.

So even, though this involves it, I didn't think the lower vocals alone sounded strong enough, and I overlapped both octaves, creating this result. It was tough enough to even try recreating EZFG's amazing vocal effects, so I just left these at that. ( ' <');

I still think it turned out pretty nice, yeah?

I didn't this song would get so catchy, uwaah...!

I also didn't think it'd be so hard to have Tsux say her name correctly in this song.
And Tsux-chan or Tsux-kun still sounded funny.

So, have her English moniker instead~ ( b' v')b

Thanks to realizing how badly I did my age-old oto's on this VB, I fixed them and I think the improvement can really show from this cover. There's a few off-times here-n-there, but I think the clarity of her pronunciation makes up for it a bit.

I'm so happy, because this means I won't have to scrap these recordings if they are 95% usable and consistent! ( ; v; )

[UTAU English Test] SUZY [Tsux Namine]

The fellow who made this UST is a genius, and there is no way I can ever reproduce whatever they mixed from it. ( ; v; )

But that aside, I’m super happy to say that Tsux’s CVVC is finally done and ready to be released for real~! Not to mention, I can reveal that the voicebank will now go by the name of XANADU.

Why? I dunno, I picked the name because it sounded vast. ^^;

As I’ll state in the Release Video, this voicebank contains three voice types: Normal (Default), ASTRAL Z (Soft), and CATHARSIS X (Loud), the latter two used by adding a Suffix to the end of each sound.

ASTRAL Z= Add “_Z” after a sound. (eg: “あ_Z”)
CATHARSIS X= Add “_X” after a sound. (eg: “あ_X”)

I hoped to try to use each set as best I could in this cover, so you should be able to hear and/or discern each one when listening.

Once again, I’m very thankful to @CyberneticEden for helping me fix and redo the oto’s, because I am a boober who didn’t know what she was doing at first! I would have been lost without them.

So to stop myself, here be another new voicebank for Tsux.
I can’t believe she’s grown so much since her first CV bank, here’s to more progress in the future!

Okay, but really, I'm glad Alto is finally complete! And this time, I still managed to include some small English phenomes in this voicebank, but they are recorded more cleanly and not from a separate VB.

Maybe if I can, I should try to find some songs he can cover where there is minimal English present, just to give a better idea of how they sound. 

Specifically, he's got the following with given aliases:
Hard T = (tta/タ), (a tt)
English R = (rra/ラ), (a rr)
Short TH (“thought”) = (tha), (a th)
Long TH (“they”) = (ttha), (a tth)
Ending ER (“her”) = (er), (r x)

Obviously they're not perfect, but it's purposely limited.

Also, I drew that picture for the cover, but now I wanna make it his official art, so gosh darn timing, Mew, it is now!

Youtube is always killing the quality of my covers now (why??), so now I have to put some of them up here where my time is limited (why???).

But this song holds a special place in my heart, I guess it's because it's one of the first few songs I listened to when I got into UTAU-- which is different than the first few songs I listened to when I got into VOCALOID. That aside, I wanted to put up at least one more cover before the year ended, and this nostalgic tune seemed like a good fit!

Although, the UST is very old, so I was able to get another hand at trying to tune the whole thing myself again, and with some timing issues aside I think it turned out simply decent!

I try not to make tuning so overboard, it can sound very strange.
So it may hardly sound like anything changed, I guess.

Also, I hoped to find more songs that I could cover primarily with Tsux's XANADU NORMAL, and it seemed I was able to pull it off only with that set throughout this whole song.
I'm pretty happy about that~!

So there's another bit o'progress down the road. And before I blabber any further, Tsux and I wish everyone a Happy New Year~!

Yay! I found to how get breaths working again!

This song is crazy and loud, and one of the two is what exactly Tsux sounds like whenever I try to use her CATHARSIS set, regardless. >:V

It's also long, I am running out of minutes on SoundCloud, and I told myself I didn't want to put full covers on this account so much. But I guess I'll just keep making exceptions.

Anywho! I wanted to test out Tsux's new CVVC and it's respective ASTRAL Z and CATHARSIS X sets, not to mention I really like this song and wanted to give it a go!

But because of that I had to go find someone to sing with Tsux since it's a duet, and I ended up choosing Yume Saine. She's pretty new to me, but I think her voice and design are cute.

(I'm sorry Tsux is so loud, it's like second nature for her to be like that, agghh...!)

It's done, it's done! And gosh, I honestly cannot stand that I had to release this VB after having made XANADU not too long ago! >:[

But, this one was still worth it, and I'm glad it all turned out just fine in the end. What I just hoped was, despite the inconsistencies in the voicebank, that Tsux can still sing. And she can, so Mission Accomplished~!

Just to run through quickly, ADVENT is basically like XANADU: three voice types, with the same sort of Suffixes to use for the other two, but also includes some extra samples that allow for minimal English.

That should be shown a little bit from this song, which was part of why I chose to cover it. The rest can be explained (in excess, oops) in the Youtube upload.

Boi-yoh! Tsux's VCV still holds up, and with a distinct tone that gives me reason to use it every so often-- if not, to make lazy plug-n-play's like this one. Though, sometimes, I just like a sweet, simple cover. :>

I wanted to try re-mixing a cover of VOiCE because it's one of the couple songs I really enjoyed covering with my kiddo. And I was curious as to how well Tsux's VCV could work with it.

Even the old CV cover still holds a nostalgic feel to me~
So I still find myself listening to it from time to time.

The VCV presents a more gentle tone, differing greatly from the stronger cover of the CV, but still blends kinda nicely with this song. It kinda works, as I learned way before that this song is kinda sad. ( ' ^');

But! I'm at least happy this song was easy to put together.
I don't know if I'd make a video for this, as I try to avoid making too much reuploads at once, so I'll share it here for now.

Ahah, do you remember the days when you didn't know what flags were, or how to tune, or whatnot? I found this lying around in one of my old flashdrives and it took be quite a ways back.

Ignoring the one single lyric error in the clips-- as I did it all my memory-- I was super proud of this clip when I first made it, especially since Tsux's ACT 3 CV was quite a feat for me in clarity at the time.

A~nd, now that she's got an English CVVC, I thought I'd give it a try again to see how much I had improved. Given, I am not expert at tuning, this was all for pure fun.

This was only a portion of the original clip I had, as I actually did the whole first chunk of the song. I did not feel like redoing the entire thing from scratch. ( " <" )

Even with Tsux's ADVENT VB being clearer and stronger, the soft bank from her XANADU bank is still so nice. I think I may still use it every so often if I want Tsux to sing super-soft songs, like this one.

There is a little bit of tripping over sounds here because I normally fitted this UST for the ADVENT VB, and I just plugged-n-played, bleh~

AVTechNO! is super cool, and I love this song. It sounds like heaven.

Wow, I finally managed to stop putting off this cover and made the art/video for it. I really wanted to make sure I had SOMETHING done with UTAU before 2018 ends, especially because I am so proud of this cover.

After making that one duet of Tsux with Yume, I wanted to give more focus on Yume's neutral voice. I thought she would be a perfect fit for this song because of how soft she sounds, and golly was I right.

She sounds like a literal angel from another dimension.

And Tsux is just here to back her up. I'm quite surprised yet happy with how well their voices blended together. Especially since one is very delicate, and the other is very hard. I guess there comes a balance with those differences.

So uhh, Soon-Cloo ate my full cover of this because copyright (of course), so my whole proper release of Tsux's English VB here is going to be real weird. Oh well, I think sharing the vocals-only part is still kinda nice. You can definitely hear her a lot better that way.

Also, I don't know why-- maybe it's because I use the trial version of FL Studio, but sometimes when I use the Hardcore effects, parts of my vocals will disappear from the final mix. So you may lose some lines in these vocals, but they do in fact come up in the actual cover.

Sorry if that feels very off at first, I can't do much else of it without excessive editing which I don't feel like doing-- plus it's too late now.

Tsux's release cover for her English CVVC couldn't be posted here, which kinda sucks-- so I thought of providing a fuller example of how she sounds here as well (I just had to make room for it because, aghhh SoundCloud...!!)

Even through all the backup vocals that tend to boost the singer's voice in this song, Tsux's pronunciation wasn't that bad at all when I isolated them. I hope that means with each attempt in an English cover I'm improving with how clear I can get her to sound.

Overall, I'm quite happy with how everything turned out! The repeated "conqueror"ing was more of my challenge get on-time, there are definitely some parts where they are off, shh~
