Where The World

I stand idle by this tree, 
alone, 
my thoughts isolated by the solitude fortress 
created within the recess of my mind, 
it’s me, 

don’t believe everything that your mind speaks, but listen. 
Embrace, not with action or violence, 
thoughts, whether polar opposite or exposed, 
allow your moment to feel exposed, 
embrace it all, 
clarity in search of the most avoid, ignore, 
what the mind thinks of I and who’s inside, 
who’s lurking when we put I inside the name, 
the fable’s tale fox, the monkey in the box, 
the snake within the garden, the lover in the closet, 
the Humpty dump fell and busted it open,
 it’s not a game, but you can play it. 
And see how you die, 
the villain or the villain. 
Feel what this world means, 
know people die in the street, 
across the globe, people you and me know, 
hungry follows the same, 
the youth suffer our pain and their pain and the world’s pain, 
so feel the thoughts of suffering because it aint far, embrace it, even cherish, and walk with respect 

I stand alongside, upon this tree, idle 
rooted in the same belief, inferno spread heat, 
stuck in misery, underneath, 
beneath snakeskin and root rot,
It's me
